> 3 dayDont be fooled by the item name, this bit actually has a 1/2 shank. As with all Freud bits, this is a great item.

> 3 dayI prefer Freud router bits based on consistently high quality. This is an example. This bit is very useful for slight bevel on trim or the like. The 25 degree bevel (vs vertical) is quite nice if 45 or 30 are too slanted, and the slighter angle also makes the bit a little easier to work - the outside diameter is smaller. Suggest use on light material (such as primary design purpose, re trimming countertop laminates) with slow rate over work, or in a router table. Either way a variable speed router is required for best results, turned down from max just slightly. My first use was actually duplicating a guitar pickguard using an original as pattern -- on a router table, using spacers in between to get the cutter to align as closely as possible to the bearing. One of many examples where this bit is extremely suitable and useful.

> 3 dayWorks as promised and has been sharp for 2 uses so far. A good price for this hard to find angle. A prefect angle for ourdoor frames to not let rainwater stand on finished surface. As a beginner to pattern routing I would advise to look for knots in your guide material as the bit will follow the knot gap and route a corresponding, perfectly matching gap, oops!

> 3 dayWhen used properly at the correct speed and depth of cut it created a butter smooth edge on my Padauk desk top with no burning, chatter, or chipping.

> 3 dayIve been using this bit for around year, helping me make some modern trim for my house. It works well, has held a scary sharp edge after routing a couple hundred feet of poplar.
