Needed to add an extra opener. This is exactly what I wanted. Easy to set up and use!

This remote was very easy to program, took me about 5 minutes and was half the price I would have paid had I went to a local garage door establishment that carried them.

I purchased this remote as a replacement for the old unit that finally gave out. My Genie garage door opener is original to my house, built in 1996. Easy set-up. Took me about 5 minutes to follow the directions and have the remote programmed to my garage door unit. The remote works great. It’s small in size so does not take up much room in my car.

Was worried that my 1995-era old genie garage door opener setup was not going to work with this new remote. I was wrong to worry. These paired with my garage door within minutes and I was done in less than 5 minutes with both remotes. Super simple and works as advertised. Dont hesitate to buy or waste time or money buying something more expensive. Worked 100% on my 20+ year old system.

Had to replace my lost remotes and I needed one for my key chain cause we have motorcycles perfect choice and 2 seconds to program

Owner of a Genie Model 2028 garage opener, I needed another remote. I ordered the Genie G3T-R 3 button remote through Amazon. Following the directions that came in the box, I was easily able to program the 3 button remote. Simple and works like a charm.

Knowing my own lack of mechanical ability, I was a little concerned about trying to program this new remote with my 20+ year old openers. My other remotes were all the old clamshell style but they had been giving me lots of problems not working regularly even with new batteries so I decided to give this a try. I had both of my openers programmed/paired and working within 60 seconds after reading the instructions. Finally, this was something with easy-to-follow instructions that actually worked right away. I only wish I would have gotten this sooner and avoided all of the issues with my old crappy openers.

The button is sensitive and offers little feedback if it was accidentally pressed on you pocket. Almost close the door on my car once, and left the garage door open a few times on accident. Works well overall tho

Update to my initial review. This is still a great garage door opener. I have no had any problems at all! The Genie G3T-R Intellicode2 3-Button Remote (Works With Genie Garage Openers Only) is exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I bought a house and the previous garage door openers did not have the clip on them to attach to a car visor. My wife and I went to Home Depot one day for something for the house and we saw these remotes out of the corner of our eyes. After checking out the remotes I immediately looked on Amazon to see if they had them. Of course they did and they were cheaper. I immediately bought them from Amazon. Once they arrived I immediately programmed them (I bought 2). I did not have any problems. They were very easy to program. They also come with clips you can attach and put on your car visor. Or you can attach them to your key chain if you would like. But I think they are too bulky to keep on a key chain. I tried to program all 3 buttons to open and close the door. But I was only able to program 1 button at a time. No big deal though. Over all this is a good remote. It is not too big and it gets the job done.

Installed in less than 30 seconds! For my model I didnt need the instructions provided. All I had to do was remove the white cover from the opener. Pull the strip from the remote. Push the black button to the left of the light bulb. Press my desired button on the remote once and release. Press that same button to operate. 2nd remote same process. Both work great! Took me longer to carry and open the ladder.
