Greater than one weekI have tried most flavors of Gu over the past 7 years. I really like many of their varieties and can tolerate almost any flavor. However, once they introduced this salted caramel version, it instantly became my favorite! It truly tastes like a melted version of salted caramels! I was thrilled when GU decided to make it available year-round rather than just one of their seasonal flavors. A year later, its still my favorite!

> 3 dayWhen recently training for a marathon, we picked up a variety pack of Gu flavors. I would eat a different flavor first but I would always get queasy if I had anything other than Vanilla after the first gu. I changed to only vanilla flavor and my stomach was not queasy for the remainder of the training. I have a sugar sensitive stomach and I usually get gut rot when I drink more than 1 lemonade, Gatorade, cocktail...etc. The vanilla flavor was the only flavor that worked for my stomach.

> 3 dayHave tried a few GU flavors and this one is a favorite. If you are planning on running 45 minutes or more, you should try taking one 5 minutes before you start and then every 45 minutes thereafter until your done. I PRd a half marathon easily using GU Roctane, but did most of my training miles with this GU. It really does give you a boost (I know by looking at my mile splits and lining up when I took the GU to when my split speed increased). Overall a great product for all distance runners!

> 3 dayI use GU for my long runs (anything over 5 miles) and it works wonders. I love how convenient it is to use during a run. I keep it in the pocket of my handheld water bottle and can consume this easily, without stopping or slowing my pace. I didnt use to like GU, until I tried the SALTED CARAMEL flavor. It is so good I actually look forward to taking it :) It does make your mouth feel dry though, so make sure you have some water on hand after taking

> 3 dayThere are Gu Gel people and then there are the rest of us. I started off in the former camp - used the Gu Gel on a couple long runs and loved the energy burst. So I took the plunge and bought a 24-pack from Amazon, in Vanilla Bean (my favorite flavor). But as my long runs increased above 15 miles, I found the Gu Gel upset my stomach and instead I needed real food to fuel my body. Just depends on your mileage and personal preference. If you like the Gu Gels, Vanilla Bean is great and the price at Amazon (for a 24-pack) is the best Ive seen.

> 3 dayThese are my go to product with endurance sports. I feel so much better during my long distance rides, runs and swims. They are so little but have the nutrition I need so they are not bulky. I love this flavor the best and feel the caffeine kick gives me a boost but not one that makes me feel shaky.
