HGST/Hitachi (HUA723020ALA641) Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 64MB 7200RPM 3.5 (Enterprise Grade) SATA III 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive

I would give it five stars if it were new as it was described but its been used. Ive had it since January, 2015 and its still running solid though.

Great price, installed two of these in a NAS. Working with no issues now for several months

The drive performs perfect no issues except that it is LOUD even when i put all the fans in my pc its a decent amount louder but thats not the reason i intend to replace this drive the main reason is it vibrates TON i have my pc on my desk 2+ feet away from my keyboard and i can feel the drive vibrating while i type this if you intend to have your pc on your desk or care a lot about your parts.

So far, this has been an amazing drive! Will update if anything changes!

Drives are USED! I did a SMART test and looked at the reports. All 5 drives I bought were used, each with over 10,000 hours. All had been reset so that the SMART Power_On_Hours read zero. Looking at the SMART self test log, I could see that offline self tests had been performed - one test on one drive was at 20,000 hours! Needed another drive for raid array, this fit the bill and matched those that came in server.

After receiving a defective drive the seller bent over backwards to make it right with me and the replacement worked perfectly and synced up easily.

I was looking for a more reliable hard drive after only getting 2 years out of a crappy Seagate drive(I will never by Seagate again). This 2TB drive has been very fast and reliable so far. It is an enterprise drive so it is a little louder, but believe me a little sound trade off for a more reliable drive is definetily worth it. I have only had the drive for about a year, but I have a very good feeling about this one. Oh and I run my computer 24/7.
