> 3 dayI have purchased this multiple times and love the product, but I was disappointed when I receive this one and it the bottle was sealed but didnt have an actual lid on it. Thankfully, I had an extra lid to use, if not it would have been a mess trying to keep it from spilling and would have been impossible to store.

> 3 dayThis a great product. I used it to protect a couple of bamboo cutting boards. I didnt have any problems. I found the best way to apply it was put a little on the cutting board and use a paper towel to spread over the cutting board. A little goes a long way. I would buy this again and recommend it.

Greater than one weekI think it’s a little high priced for mineral oil, but it’s competitive for Amazon. Plastic bottle was well sealed, so there was no problem with the container leaking. It’s not made in China, and that is important for any food or food grade product (IMO). It had no odor and it seemed to be very pure mineral oil. Warning: it comes out quicker than you think it will when applying! My old cutting board was badly in need of conditioning & my new bamboo cutting board looks great after applying. If you were going to oil an entire butcher block table or countertop, you will probably need a larger amount. The manufacturer offers lots of helpful, detailed information here on Amazon about using the product & how often you should oil your cutting boards. I discovered that I can use it for my cast iron cookware too! So overall I am happy with the product & the price.

> 3 dayJust a little goes a long way. Use this on my bamboo cutting board. Pour a little on, and rub all over the board with my fingers. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe down with a cloth. Simple and it has kept my board looking great. This bottle has lasted me a good long while and when I eventually run out Ill be sure to buy again

> 3 dayReview of Howard Products BBB012 Cutting Board Oil, 12 oz I like the John Boos Mystery Oil and Cream better. It seems like the Howard Products oil soaks in and evaporates. The Boos oil & cream (use the oil first and then the cream) - those products last for months before I need to re-do them. All my countertops and island have butcher block.

11-06-2025This cutting board oil is top of the line in my opinion. It does not change the wood color, does not leave it sticky, not too heavy. It keeps the cutting board looking like new, plus I use their conditioning oil to make sure my board is taken care of properly. Great oil!
