This is a wonderful product. Works great, very low noise. We had a plumber install this with our new sink.

I had this type of garbage disposal before, lasted 12 years, then it stopped working, so I ordered another one and had it installed. Works great.

Easy to install

The rubber washer was deformed and I had to soak it in hot washer for a while before I could reinstall it. The ‘J; black pipe should have been a little longer

Easy to install. Dont forget to remove the plug in the dishwashing port line or dishwasher wont drain.

It took 15 minutes to pull out the old non-working Insinkerator 500 and replace with this Insinkerator 5. The new disposal came with everything you need including an already attached electrical cord.

I purchased this product to replace a geriatric InSinkErator at the same time as I replaced the geriatric sink. Installation was easy, instructions easy to follow. I love the fact that it came with cord and plug so I didnt have to hardwire. Works fine. Minimal noise for a disposer. I hope to not need another disposer in my lifetime, but I definitely recommend and would purchase again.
