The mat is fine, protects the desk. I chose based on how much area I wanted it to cover. The little covered containers arent very useful, the lids dont stay closed. In reality, Im not using any of the designated area for storing parts, I have no doubt I would knock them all with my sleeves. However, this is exactly what I needed to safely solder on my desk. Not very expensive and does what I need.

No issues yet. Non slip. Easy to clean.

I like it. It would be nice if it had enough conductivity to drain electro-static charge. It isnt perfect but it is quite good. At first I wasnt sure about the cavities for part storage but they are can be useful.

Great product exactly what I needed

When fixing anything that involves electronics i always use my kaisi heat insulation it has all the right spots to place All the bolts that you are taking out in order. shipment was fast!

It has a really strong smell at first but it seems to be going away. Other than that, the mat works well and does not melt even if I touch the iron directly to it at 350 Celsius. Solder just rolls right off and is easy to clean. I’m using this for a portable soldering station and I’m definitely getting the larger version for my permanent soldering station.
