I haven’t used it to sotter anything I’m trying to learn how to sotter so I bought this but I have used it to fix my controllers and things like that

Better than expected. Also convenient to store, as you can roll it if you want to.

It has a really strong smell at first but it seems to be going away. Other than that, the mat works well and does not melt even if I touch the iron directly to it at 350 Celsius. Solder just rolls right off and is easy to clean. I’m using this for a portable soldering station and I’m definitely getting the larger version for my permanent soldering station.

I thought it was going to be bigger but I went and looked they had the dimensions there for the world to see I just didn’t look I guess I saw the next day delivery and the great price and said give it to me so as they often always do they sold it to me. Either way it’s very useful and I’ll just get another bigger one to go along with it.

Has couple areas with magnet very usefull for small screws

Right size for the work I do but I really dont like using it because after two months it still stinks. Its also a dust, hair and packaging bits static magnet. It really seems to get static charged from just being moved around and needs a good wash once in awhile to both keep it dust free from its constant static charge buildup and to tame the stench of it. Ive been told it smells like a couple of used diapers in a diaper bag but I think it smells more like a fridge with some bad food on a hot summer day. Either way, yuck!

Good quality mat with a lot of space for bits and screws.

This looks ideal to protect my work table and keep parts from wondering off. I look forward to putting it to extended use. Everyone seems to like it. I’ll update my review if I feel otherwise after extended use.
