I purchased the large S-180 and its been great. Ive already used for a few projects and having all the organization space and cubbies really helps me keep track of everything. I used the magnetic spots to hold my screwdriver bits and put all the screws in the small numbered slots in the main space so I didnt lose anything and knew what order I took the screws out in. I included my Nintendo Switch in the picture as a reference point to the actual size of the S-180 mat. It did come with a note warning me it would have a strong odor but mine didnt, I just let it rest on a table to flatten out for an hour after being rolled up for shipping and was using it the same day. I havent used it for soldering so I cant speak to its heat resistance but overall I am very happy with the product.

This thing is amazing. I bought it to have a surface area to do some light soldering, but I use this all the time now. I thought I burned it when I dropped my soldering iron on it, but the burnt solder and flux wiped right off. There are plenty of areas and options to keep all your screws and little hardware pieces organized, and the magnetic areas are a life saver. Worth every penny.

I purchased two of them, one for work and one for home use. I was glad I purchased two of them. They are really good quality and craftsmanship. I would recommend to anyone.

Used this while I was reworking the BIOS chip on my motherboard. Worked perfectly, didnt slip on the table, lots of compartments to keep screw and small components organized, even spilled some melted solder on the mad...not an issue! Came off like nothing happed. Good quality silicone.

I havent used it for soldering yet, but I have used it for work for taking apart electronics and doing a repair, I can say that it is very antistatic and good at keeping electronic parts safe, the only thing is: I wish the magnet was stronger, and on the bottom as well. Most of my screws stick to the side of the mat screw holes.

For my needings, just perfect and more that I was needing.

I get a lot of use out of this mat. I use it both for soldering on, or any time I use the hot glue gun. Haven’t had anything burn or stick to it. The molded in magnets are great for holding screws.
