> 3 dayThe product quantity was more that enough to cover 4 doors on a 2008 Tacoma and still had enough to cover probably another 4, had plenty left over. Did install on a 85° day and they adhere really well. Tried using gloves but its hard, easier if you dont use them. It did leave a light smell of tar for a day or two only. The doors do feel as if they close tighter but didt really notice a great difference in outside backgound noise. Speaker sound does sound better. Definetly not to be used as insulation, they feel hot to the touch as metal does but still do recommend.

Greater than one weekI have never used sound deadening mats, but I customize my cars A LOT. The price of this product is way lower than the leading brands but the quality is fantastic. I thought I would be getting a lower quality alternative- side by side it looks and feels like the big name brands. You will notice how heavy the stuff is from the box, which wasnt light nor fluffy. I especially liked the grid system for easy and precise cutting on the foil side. Once I measured and cut, install was a breeze. In fact, I had to re position a few pieces, the glue had no problem adhering even with a couple of times off and on. I did the door panels on my Tesla, which was already pretty quiet. It seems quieter but unfortunately that is seat of the pants, not scientific. I didnt take before and after readings. I did put some behind the speaker in my Ram truck and sound DEFINITELY comes out louder than before, with less loss behind the speaker. 50 square feet is more than enough to do a vehicle completely. The instructions recommend using gloves- I didnt and found no ill effects or reduced adhesion.

Greater than one weekOne box was more than enough to do an El Camino, including the smugglers box and ceiling. Easy to work with, but it will dull a scissors quickly so he was a good one.

> 3 dayI installed this KilMat in my 2015 Dodge Challenger, with ease. The whole trunk, wheel wells and Drivers side door. The hardest part was taking everything apart. Didnt use the roller, that much, could easily press everything down with your hands. The 50 sqft was more than enough to complete this job. The noise cancellation level was very noticeable, took out the rattle in the drivers door, now have to put a few strips on the rear deck, to quiet that down. Would recommend this to everyone, nice weekend project.

Greater than one weekI was skeptical about the sound deadning quality, but after i installed it i realized it work. You gotta cover the complete floor and rear wall of a single cab silverado, for it to be effective . Dont try and cut corners, remove everything and clean everything well so it will adhere to what ever your applying it too.

> 3 dayBest bang for your buck... I was skeptical at first due to the thickness. Despite the thickness, Im very impressed with the Kilmat. So far, Ive only completed the for board and the difference it has made is undeniable. Its easy to install... Remember, Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. The adhesive is quite sticky, BUT if you handle gently and carefully it will not stick to everything when trying to apply it. When applying, if you mold it as you go. It goes on Like Butta. As for the quantity... For my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, 50sqft was more than enough for the front and rear floorboards so now Im going to do the sides and perhaps the roof.

> 3 dayI used these in my 2009 Jeep Wrangler all on the interior and it actually did a great job reducing noise. I used about half of the whole box covering the tub of it and the inside of the doors. It made the ride quiet and my sound system better because of the change of the acoustics. Takes time to install but is easy to cut with a stiff sharp knife. Buy a set of rollers with this though to make installation easier. Also, it takes about a whole day to install it. I have some left over I will probably use in a second car.

> 3 dayGirlfriend and are I doing a mild camper build in our 06 E350. Were not going to really be living in it and most trips will just be 1-3 day ventures or for concerts. I also have everything easily removable so I can still use it to haul stuff. With all that I couldnt really be bothered for the 80mil for the large price difference. This does a great job. Its also incredibly easy to work with to cut around corners. We also used it to go over holes in the sheet metal on the sides after we packed them with insulation. The floor in the van has the kilmat down first then furring strips to balance the ribs with the foam board insulation then the plywood base to vinyl. With so much else going on top - the 50mil is the perfect thickness in my opinion for a van floor if thats your purpose with it. If you have the extra money and are super concerned with outside noise then Im sure the 80mil is just as nice to work with.
