We test hundreds of outlets a day, as such it has been relegated to the back up in the bag to the Amprobes.

> 24 hourLove this outlet tester, it’s great to use for beginners when replacing outlets as it shows you exactly what is wrong with your outlet so you can troubleshoot! But definitely do your research prior to doing any electrical work and wear your proper PPE, too! This helped me when I was trying to work on updating my outlets in my older home and when using it realized that the previous homeowners did their electrical incorrectly and it wasn’t up to code… I bought this to check beforehand before doing anything and did my research and went to work and now it’s all good and up to code until I get all the electrical updated by a professional electrician much later on!

> 24 hourGreat product. Just one suggestion. If you need both receptacle tester and non contact voltage tester buy the set instead of buying them separately. Its cheaper in Home Depot than Amazon
