I havent used it for long so dont know about durability ...other receptacle tester I had in pass always lose that color plastic on light indicator also it ship and received it in a timely manner

> 3 dayPurchased this device to validate circuit breaker assignments and determine which outlets are on the same GFI circuit. I experienced a problem where a contractor plugged a faulty extension cord or saw to an outdoors outlet. The fault tripped the GFI circuit but not the main breaker. Took some time to locate the GFIC plug thst was tripped. So decided that I should undertake to remap the outlets and validate the markings on the breaker box. This little device works like a charm and made quick work of the remapping and validation. Very handy.
