Komelon SL2825 Self Lock 25-Foot Power Tape

I used this tape measure only a couple of times and it was fine until I extended it to 24 feet to measure a room. I was careful not to get close to the 25 foot limit. The tape measure snapped and came completely out. I emailed the company per its website describing the issue and have had no response. Had it happened at 25 feet I would not be writing this review. Too much time spent already on this bad $10 item. Faulty tape measure and zero customer service.

I bought this primarily because it was a different color than all the other tape measures we have in our house. This turned out to be actually pretty sweet - great quality, very smooth tape, I like the self locking function, nice bright color (makes it easier to find) - the only problem is now my husband wants to use it (but the whole point was that I get my own so I could use it for my personal Pinterest scheming!)

This is a really nice tape measure. It has nice large numbers and the tape stays out until you push the button to retract it. Very nice!

Sturdy, and works well. The self locking feature is wonderful and it works as intended. A great buy for any home owner or worker.

I work as a sheet metal metal fabricator and need a tape that can fit under the guard on our shears. This does.

For an add on item and expense was a good deal for a 25 ft tape. Not hea by duty enough for heavy construction but perfect for around the house

I had one of these before, it was my go to tape measure, but sadly it disappeared. I love how you have to push the button to make the tape retract and the tape is very easy to read.
