I really like the double sided measuring tape. I measure oil tanks daily at work. The verticle numbers are easier to read and the white background makes the oil level much easier to see.

I have two of these and love them. After using a white tape, its hard to go back to yellow.

It is well made. It is wide and sturdy enough so that there is little or no flex to the tape itself. The housing has a rubber coating around it for cushioning should it be dropped. The markings are clear in inches and fractions thereof. Its a little heavy but, then again, its got 25 feet of metal tape wound up in it. For construction work, it will do the job and last for a long time.

Easy to read the eighth. quarter, and half marks from the top or bottom of the tape and doesnt have ears that get in the way when holding the tape stop and a razor to keep the cut true to zero on the tape when say, ripping an 8 or 12 foot sheet of drywall or cutting or drawing accurately measured boxes etc.

Tape measures are like pens. I seem to lose them, leave them, or just have them borrowed and never returned. And, they are never around when I need one. So, I like to have a good tape measure in multiple areas and also have one available. This one fits the bill. It is extremely well made. The mechanism is good and the tape is sturdy. It has easy to read numbers and retracts/extracts without issues. A great price and great item.

I accidently got the tape measures by a random chance. I think it is a really well made product. I cannot really explain how I feel when I use it, but among several tape measures I own, I use this tape measure all the time.

Edit. 6 months later the tape is showing signs of rust along the edges. The full length. It has not been wet. ----- This tape really helped me easily measure in imperial after having grown up using decimal.

I get these for my guys regularly, they are very study and can take a beating. Easy to grip, and retracts easily. Exact what you want with the measuring tape.

I got tired of fighting the POJ Stanley - so i bought 2 of these. What a nice surprise!! The ruler pull out/retract is almost effortless and quite smooth, and the measure increments are easy to read - even for an old coot like me! :) Plus - the whole thing is just the right size. It fits easily in my hand and makes managing it all much easier. Only thing I wish would be a color other than DeWalt yellow. Gimme some fluorescent pink or lime green! Heck even a summer sky blue would work! Anything color that sets this apart from all other tools

I got this a while ago and shortly after having it the locking feature ended up getting stuck when I tried to slide the button down. It also had trouble going back in after a while of using it. I didnt even use it that often and still ended up with several issues after a while of putting up with it I threw it away.

Back in 1999 Komelon came out with the Gripper and its design was revolutionary. We took this design one step further and added our Speed mark fractional graduations to the blade. The 16-feet Gripper speed mark has an easy grip, thick rubber jacket surrounding its ergonomic compact case. The blade on the Gripper speed mark is acrylic coated and has fractional graduations printed on the blade making it quick and easy to read. When you reach in your tool belt for a tape measure, make sure you feel the Gripper speed mark because everything else is substandard.
