I give the product 4-Stars and the packaging one star. Product: I bought this product mainly because of the Speed Mark measuring feature which for me is very useful. The tape measure is heavy, which I think is an asset. It feels great in your hands and is stable for hands free operation. It appear to be a high quality device based on its feel, looks and sturdiness. Things I do not like about it: I was hoping the actual measuring section was constructed of plastic for rust reasons. Also, the measuring section is concave in design. Im not sure if this is manufactured this way for a reason or not, regardless I would prefer a flat measuring section. Packaging: The item was very, very difficult to remove from its original packaging. If you are not careful removing the tape measure while using a utility knife, you can easily cut the rubber coating or your hand.

lock feature is awesome and easy to read and accuracy is on point.

A bit heavier than I think it needs to be.

I didnt expect it to be as good as a brandname metal one. But still, the quality could be just a bit better. When in lock mode, it squeaks like crazy. And the lock mechanism feels like itll break any moment. But it does its job an the actual tape is thick and sturdy

I ordered this because it says the tape is white and I thought sure can see that easily, however i got it and the tape is baby blue color! I requested a exchange surely something went wrong. The picture shows white and description white so beware if you need the white to se markings better dont buy this one the second one was baby blue color to. Overall it is a nice strudy well made tape but wish it was what i paid for.

This is very thick and durable. I have terrible eye sight so I love how big and clear the numbers are. Locks in place as it should. Definitely recommend

Finally replaced my old tape measure and this one really solved some of my general complaints about most models. It has fractional numbers on one side, which really helps. The tape is strong enough such that it remains rigid for easy measurement. I really like the lock mechanism, but my favorite feature is that is slowly retracts and doesnt snap into my hand!!

I have two of these and love them. After using a white tape, its hard to go back to yellow.
