> 3 dayI got this a while ago and shortly after having it the locking feature ended up getting stuck when I tried to slide the button down. It also had trouble going back in after a while of using it. I didnt even use it that often and still ended up with several issues after a while of putting up with it I threw it away.

> 3 dayThis tape measure is great! It’s well made, rubber insulated, the black numbers on the white background are easy to see, and the 1/8” marks are a nice addition.16’ is plenty for my work so it’s not too bulky either. Happy with this purchase!

> 3 dayI like how big the numbers are.

> 3 dayI like and trust the Komelon brand tape measures for durability. My son told me about them. Now that I am taking on a larger project I want an additional tape measure. I have had my original Komelon tape measure for years. No kinks, no problems with retraction, no troubles what so ever. And a good price for a quality tape measure. Additionally if you have small hands like me (51) You are going to absolutely Love the size of this tape measure. And it shows you the incremental measurements too.

> 3 dayVery nice little tape for the money. The blade doesnt have the nice coating or markings on the back that my last Komelon does but its also less than half the price so for what I paid I have no complaint. The blade is still clearly marked and readable, the fractional speedread markings are great. Its also quite light despite its stout appearance. I havent used it too much so I cant comment on its durability yet but so far its a great little tape at a great price.

> 3 dayThis measuring tape is of great quality and very sturdy, no complaints there. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because its significantly bulkier (and heavier) than I imagined when ordered. If you are looking to buy a measuring tape to casually carry around (e.g., take to furniture stores), this is probably not the best option.

> 3 dayAt 3x3” and 1.75” thick this is beefier than the average 16’ tape measure. This is mostly due to the rubber wrapped case which feels great in my hand and also helps avoid scratching delicate surfaces. Accuracy is dead on. I love the 1” wide (off) white tape and the 1/8” readings. I’m tired of 16’ tapes that are 3/4” wide. But the real dealmaker for me is the lock lever which, when partially depressed, can slow down/control the blade retraction. I’m not sure if this was an intended or accidental feature of the lock mechanism but I hate tapes with no ability to control retraction, which is almost all. For $6 it’s a no brainer. I also ordered the 12’ version for a better fit in my shop apron pouch.

> 3 dayAs a single lady who does DIY projects alone without assistance...I really wanted a long, large print tape measure. Especially one that would snap into place so I could measure large areas. Well it did well on the other points and even the hold in place feature worked well but after a while it just broke (less than 2 years). I’m disappointed but I will say ...I really loved it until that feature broke . Maybe you will have better luck.
