> 3 dayPros- awesome unit, mostly quiet, nice capacity. Cons- not suitable for elderly, as you got to toss a full 6l plastic vat like a pizza to reinstall after filling. Also, where the cutout is for the steam pointer, and handle, there are two 90 degree angles of plastic which could have been rounded for safer operation when handling while filling.. Sides that, it is keeking ass and taking names in my apt, love it. PLants love it.

> 3 dayI ordered this humidifier for my many houseplants upon the recommendation of a master gardener on Instagram. Its quiet and I like the different control options. Love that I can direct mist in two different directions. I could have sworn that I read its filled from the top and not the bottom. I was wrong, it has to be turned upside down to fill it with water. Thats what I hated about the smaller Levoit humidifier I was using before. It can be difficult to line everything up to fit the top back onto the bottom. I dont understand why the designers didnt change this feature. I am happy for my plants.

> 3 dayI bought this humidifier for my room with many other hygrometers in the room, and the hygrometer on the humidifier always reads over 10-20% more than what’s actually in the room. With the smart scenes setting on my app, this makes it hard for it to stop when humidity is for say at 80% because the humidifier will read 80% and shut off, while all 5 of my other hygrometers read about 68-75 humidity, resulting in me leaving it on not knowing when it’ll mist up the room and end up being 90-100% humid. It would be helpful if the digital hygrometer on the humidifier read more accurate humidity.

> 3 dayThis humidifier works very well in a large room. I have used it in my living/dining room for about 2 years now . I didnt use it over the summers though as there was no need for it. I like the multiple settings and large tank. The problem is that, even though I handled it carefully, it developed a leak in the tank seam between the clear part and the white bottom in less than a year. I used it for a total of 9-11 months and stored it the rest of the time. After storage I filled it and it started to leak. This is a fairly expensive unit and it makes no sense to replace it every year. I have always used distilled water in it and handled it with care. I have searched for a replacement tank but have found none. I tired to seal the tank seam with silicone sealant but that only worked for about 2-3 weeks. Now I have to throw the hole thing away and find something that will hopefully will last. Review Update: 12/19/22: It turns out that while I only used the humidifier for about 9-11 months it was actually over 2 winter seasons so I actually owned it for almost 2 years before the tank started leaking. About 3 weeks after I sealed the tank with silicon sealant, it started leaking again. This time I looked at the base unit and realized I had a 2 year warranty, unfortunately when I checked my purchase date on Amazon, it was 5 days past 2 years. I decided to call Levoit service and see what they could do for me. They said I needed to send them the purchase receipt and a pic of the leaking part. I did and they send me whole new unit. I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 because of the great service. I didnt give it a 5 because it still failed pretty early in its life.

> 3 dayIve owned around 5 different humidifiers in the last 30 years. This is one is by for the best Ive ever used. I use mine in the bedroom to help with dryness and allergies. It is extremely quiet. If you are awake in the middle of the night you might hear an occasional brief but very quiet gurgle (air bubble). Set the desired humidity level and it will cycle on and off to keep it there. I have mine set at 55% humidity and it seems perfect for me. Mine runs around 10 hours a day and I have to refill it every 5 days or so. I use reverse osmosis filtered water and there is no musty smell in the tank. Ive been using it 4 months and hope it lasts. I did purchase the extended warranty through Amazon just in case.

> 3 dayI use this humidifier to keep my plants happy and it seems to be working. If you want to hear it, you have to put your ear right next to the motor and stop breathing. The display agrees with a digital hygrometer I bought separately, so its at least that accurate. Ive had other cheap humidifiers from the pharmacy that are garbage next to this one. If you love your houseplants, its worth the price. After a month, I finally got the app that you will need if you want the humidity to be above 60. The app is meant to control all manner of devices you may or may not have (which I dont), so it is a bit annoying, but thats just old Luddite me. I have been filling it with tap water even though purified or distilled water is recommended, but who is going to do that unless they have access to a huge reservoir of purified water? People that only use it when they are sick? I guess I could lug some reverse osmosis water home from the lab, but no. I havent yet noticed any lime deposits on my walls. What I have noticed is an increase in tiny flies in my apartment. I find them floating in the reservoir of the humidifier, so Im pretty sure theyre attracted to the humidity. I dont know how to deal with them yet. I clean it once a week and refill it in between cleanings. And though I havent changed any filter parts yet, I definitely recommend this humidifier despite the app and the flies. It is the best humidifier Ive ever had.

> 3 dayThough I do not feel aroma oils, all the product design, UX/UI design, app connectivity, and functionality are awesome!!!! I’ve struggled with washing humidifiers and refilling waters in them, but I like this top-fill and easy to maintenance humidifier!!!

> 3 dayI cant say this doesnt work, and it has nice features. I can only give 3 stars because of the overall design. You have to turn it over and fill it from the underside. That doesnt sound so terrible, and maybe could be worse, but its kind of a pain. the carry handle is on top, and the bottom always has condensation, so you end up dripping water all the way to the kitchen. I suppose you could take the entire unit when refilling, but that would be annoying too. Also, the fill opening at first seems large enough, but thats only true until you want to wash the inside. I let mine sit way too long unused, and wanted to wash it with soap. The opening is too small for me to get my hand inside. I had to resort to a long soak and sloshing the soapy water around. I think its clean enough? Then there were the times were the rubber seal on the cap came out and fell inside the tank. I hope you have kitchen tongs. And a couple times I accidentally tightened the lid too tight. There for a minute I didnt think I was going to get it open again. Like I said, it DOES work, but its annoying. I ended up replacing it with one that fills easily from the top. This one is now used only in the home office, so I dont have to fill it so often (but I still might totally replace it in this room, and donate this thing).
