> 24 hourI have a heated cat house in the garage and an unheated cat house in our family room. Our cat is indoor only and sleeps in the garage at night (by her choice). Now that temperatures have dropped she asks to be let into the garage during the day. We keep our thermostat at 69 degrees and apparently she would rather be in her heated house in the cold garage. I bought this heating pad for the indoor cat house and it fits perfectly! It was far less expensive than the the same brand as the Kitty house heating pad. I am so happy with this purchase! It was hard to find this exact size. The cord looks very sturdy. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourI got this for our two guinea pigs that live with my daughter at school. I like the fact that it turns off when it needs to and its not on all day because shes forgetful. The guinea pigs love it. Im glad that this one comes with a covering for the cabling because the last one was eaten by the smaller guinea pig who likes to chew. Its easy to keep clean. I honestly believe the older guinea pig was smiling when we finally got this one to replace a broken one.

> 24 hourIt is perfect for my cat. She hangs out on it all the time. The only problem is the strong plastic smell...

> 24 hourIts summer. In Arizona. Well, I decided to give it a trial run any way. Plugged it in, placed the cat on it, 2 slow tail slaps and the purring began. Big stretch, turn the head upside down, cats asleep. We have a winner. Warms quickly, I would suggest placing this in an open bed rather than an enclosed one as it does warm quite a bit. Im kind of excited about winter now, maybe I can get the cat excited about some of the beds we have that he ignores now.

> 24 hourI have two cats, and I got one for each of them. One, wouldnt touch it (she has longer fur and weighs more, so shes already warm). The other (who is thinner and has shorter fur), absolutely obsessed, even in summer. I gave away the first one for someones small dog, but the one I kept has held up for a couple years and my cat is still found on it pretty much every day. I have to unplug it some days because shell sleep on it even during a heat wave - she seriously spends hours every day on it. Sometimes she pulls her actual bed over and uses it as a pillow while shes on her heat mat. Shes so upset when I have to unplug it after she has surgery/a dental cleaning (because I cant trust her to be able to get up if she gets too warm when shes on anesthesia and pain meds), but the first day I DO turn it on, once shes off her meds, she spends the entire day on it. Im really happy she has something to keep her warm in our Michigan winter, because she is alone at night and I used to worry about if she got too cold... now I only have to worry if the power goes out. The cord is really thick and sturdy. My cat has like two teeth, so she cant chew on cords anyway, so I have no idea how sturdy it is for cats who do like to chew. My other cat is a cord chewer, but she never used hers - and they live sepatately for medical reasons, so my other cat has no access to this one. The orange fabric cover comes off, so it should wash pretty well. So far I havent had to wash it (though I do use a lint brush on it from time to time to remove hair), so I havent taken the cover all the way off and cant comment on how the cover holds up in the wash.. but it has held up since I got it in Feb of 2020. So the big con (which I knew about when ordering so Im not taking stars off for this) - mainly the temperature control, which is.... pretty much none. Its meant to be controlled by weight, so when shes not on it its not really warm, and then it heats up when shes on it. I like that it doesnt stay constantly warm, but it would be nice to have some kind of control. The other thing is, it IS just a mat. Theres absolutely no padding, and I think she would probably prefer if it was a bit softer/padded... but since its on an old couch (nobody uses it except her anyway), its not a big deal. I think theres probably better ones out there if you have a bigger budget, but this is a really decent heat mat and my cat is in love with it. Considering it has a 50/50 success rate with my cats (in terms of liking it), I think its a good option to get if youre not sure if your cat or dog would like a heat mat. But if you DO know they like them, it may be worth it to spend a little more if you can afford it. I originally got them for $20 each, the 12x15 size. The size is perfect for her, she CAN curl up on it but she often likes to spread out and spin around occasionally so that all of her gets warm, which she would have to do regardless of size. Overall, yes I would buy it again, but Id probably try to find one thats a little nicer (heat control and padding) first if it was in my budget. I would DEFINITELY get these if I was fostering several cats or had messy cats that may need it to be cleaned frequently, since cleaning does seem to be really easy with this one.

> 24 hourThe pad fit our cats bed perfectly. We covered the pad with a towel on the top side, but our cat can only stay on top of the pad for a short time and then has to get out and cool off. There is no temperature control and the pre-set temperature seems a little warm for our cat.

> 24 hourMy cat is 14 years old. He has loved having this heated pad. He stretches all out on it and is sound asleep.

> 24 hourThis is not easy to use for my location, it gets lukewarm but not WARM! In my opinion, it was a waste of money.

> 24 hourWe bought this for our outside cat, it arrived fast and it took him a day before he discovered it and now he stays in his house all the time!!! We wished it had a temperature control on it instead of just a plug in.
