The heating pad looks well made and the cord is heavy duty, however . . it gets too hot, at least for an indoor pet bed. I had it set up in the bed of my elderly dog (with a separate thermostat I bought) to turn on when the room is under 60 degrees, and it gets so hot I find her sleeping on the rug instead. So, its useless to me. Ill get an adjustable one next, instead. . . .

I have purchased a variety of types and brands of heated pads for years. The pads have varied in size, quality of material, durability, and ease of cleaning. About a year or so ago, I needed replacements (yet again!) I found Marunda. I bought two. Then I bought two more. Then another. Then two more - seven total, now strategically placed around the house. My cats love them! My only caution is that you provide an area nearby where your pet can cool off. These pads can feel overly warm if you sit on them long enough.

I have a heated cat house in the garage and an unheated cat house in our family room. Our cat is indoor only and sleeps in the garage at night (by her choice). Now that temperatures have dropped she asks to be let into the garage during the day. We keep our thermostat at 69 degrees and apparently she would rather be in her heated house in the cold garage. I bought this heating pad for the indoor cat house and it fits perfectly! It was far less expensive than the the same brand as the Kitty house heating pad. I am so happy with this purchase! It was hard to find this exact size. The cord looks very sturdy. Highly recommend!

Our puppy loves this! She has had it for two months. It fits nicely in her crate. It’s easy to clean. The cover zips on and off to throw in the washing machine. We have it situated so that the cord is out of her reach.

This is a great product. I have 2 of the large sized ones that my 3 pets share- 13 pound dog, 10 pound cat and 16 pound cat. I originally got it for my dogs bed since her old electric blanket stopped working. She loved it, but she kept finding her bed occupied by kitties. So I got a second one. They all take turns sharing the beds and love them. At first they were apprehensive about using them. Im guessing this was due to the factory smell and because they are slightly stiff. All it took was one or two times of placing them on the mat for them to realize the heat. Thats all it took for them to fall in love. My pets arent chewers, but I like the durable cord cover as added protection, just in case of chewing. If they were chewers, I would probably want to supervise their use until I was comfortable with the risk. The cover is removable so it can be washed as needed. The temperature level is as promised, just warm enough to keep the pets feeling cozy on a cold day, but not so warm that they become overheated. My dog used to pant once in awhile with her old electric blanket, which would prompt me to turn down the heat. Ive had this product for a few months now and havent seen her pant once. Great product, I have recommended to family and friends. And I recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a high quality, safe warming pet mat. The only suggestion for improvement that I would make is for the company to find a way to make the mat more flexible and soft. But honestly, my pets love it anyway and the stiffness probably helps the mat stay flat instead of getting bunched up in a ball like a blanket. So maybe the product really is perfect as-is after all. I have a 16 year old cat that always sleeps on heat registers so I ordered this pad for her..she loves it!!! I also have a 5 year old that has discovered it and loves it too! I have already ordered a spare, I will never be without one and a spare! I love that it stays warm all the time and doesnt cycle on and off. Its perfect for my babies! I am ordering another. My cat loves this pad. I find him sleeping on it a lot. I keep my home on this chilly side and my old, skinny cat crashes out on this heating pad everyday He doesn’t chew but the cord appears to be protected I pug it in. There’s no temperature control. Cat likes it

My cat is very short haired and she is always looking for a warm spot to stay comfortable. The heating in my house is not working at the moment (even though the AC/heating people have been trying unsuccessfully to fix it) and it is cold in my house. I purchased this heating pad to keep my cat warm, which she will use even after the heating is fixed. It doesnt get too warm, but just right, and she is on it most of the time. I feel comfortable leaving it plugged in for extended periods of time.

Bought 3 of these for some kitties I have that like to hang out in the basement. Its a finished basement, but it is cooler down there. They are older kitties and I give them stuff for arthritis. Tell you what, I have arthritis myself and I know that I like warm stuff on my achy joints. Why wouldnt it work for them? They sleep on them all the time. I am glad I bought these! I have not paid very close attention to how the temperature control part works though....
