> 24 hourWe have several heating pads spread around the house for our two cats who seek extra warmth during cold months. Marunda is an addition to our winter collection. I planned to put it in a newly bought cats tent but the size wasnt right. Then I used one of our old once of a smaller size for the tent and replaced in with Marunda. Im happy with the purchase. Its working as advertised, keeping my kitties warm and cozy!

> 24 hourI thought that the pad was not working. It seems like the top part of my outlet stopped working

> 24 hourWe love our sweet bun, and she loves spicy hay. The selling point for this was the pre-installed protective cord; despite arranging it out of reach, she was able to finagle it into reach, and took two bites before I reached her. We’ll add our own exterior protectant, but the interior section remained unscuffed. The cord is worth the assurance and stands up to nibblers.

> 24 hourBought for litter # 2 and noticed the pups rarely cry compared to the first litter. I think it’s because this pad keeps them warm. The pups also give mom space to nap because they feel warm enough on the puppy pad. Last litter, before I bought the puppy pad, had to cling to mom to stay warm. Very happy with purchase. Thank you.

> 24 hourThe instructions for this mat said it was safe to use with the cover it comes with and dont mention limiting the time the mat should be in use. If you are planning to have it on more than a few hours, you need to put extra blankets on top of the mat. My cat absolutely loves it but she got a mild burn when she was on it for several hours. I have since made sure that there is always enough insulation between the mat and my cat. On the plus side, I have been using it a lot for over a month now and it has held up fine.

> 24 hourHas kept my kitty warm on cold nights. Makes it easier to sleep at night knowing shes got some heat outside in her little igloo cat bed.

> 24 hourThe heating pad is being used by all 3 cats by taking turns so it must feel good. Not sure what it is going to do to my electric bill since it is on continuously. Not sure if the part works that it does not get hotter until a pet lays on it. I cannot tell by feeling it.

> 24 hourI ordered this pad for my outdoor kennel. The pad is very sturdy & looks to be extremely well made. It is made of a hard plastic & lays perfectly flat. It has a nice, fairly long wire protected, heavy duty cord. I put it inside the dog house, under the dogs foam bed. It has just the right temperature for my Shih-Tzus. They dont mind being out in the kennel now at all. In fact, I now have to coax them out of their dog house. I have had several different outdoor warming pads for my pets over the years. This is the best one, especially for the money, I have purchased so far.

> 24 hourUPDATE: Its been over a year since my review, and the pad is still going strong, and is still one of his favorite spots to be! God help us if it gives out, I think I may buy a spare, just in case, I dread what would happen! I think its probably his favorite thing that Ive ever bought him. Original review: Our cat, like many cats, usually will reject things we buy him in favor of the box it came in. This winter, though, we noticed he was often upset, crying to us for reasons that werent obvious - it wasnt food, water, petting.. none of the usual things he wanted. Eventually, I wondered if maybe, since hes getting older, he might be feeling a bit achy when it got chillier or rainier. I thought maybe, if he had something warm to curl up with, he might feel better, but I worried he wouldnt ever use it. After searching around here on Amazon through various versions of these pet heating pads, I eventually settled on this one, and when we got it home, I set it up in the corner of the living room hes claimed as his. Ill admit, I totally cheated that first day. I got out his favorite calming blend catnip and sprinkled it on the pad so hed at least TRY getting on it. That did get him to set foot on it, at least. It took about twenty four hours for him to give in. Maybe less. Apparently the lure of this Magical Warm Spot was sufficient to override the natural desire to avoid showing any interest in something bought for him. Hes on it all the time now! Its become one of his default favorite spots to nap. He likes it to the point where if he walks over it, he often seems to forget where he was actually headed and just sort of stop there, looking at first as though hes intending to keep going, but this quickly turns into simply sitting on the pad instead. Whatever else he had on the agenda is rarely as important as the Warm Spot once hes felt it again. Theres no more mystery crying and distress (we are back to the usual demands again) and hes even more playful again, so I suspect he was, in fact, just feeling those very relatable aches when your joints arent as young as they used to be. Hes much happier, we are much relieved that hes more comfortable, and all in all, its been one of the best purchases Ive made in a while. A quick note on cleaning: the cover zips right off and its washable. The fur also vaccuumed off of it surprisingly easily for something with a fuzzy texture. Its also nicely waterproof... He tested that when he drank a bunch of water and then decided he had to get a hairball out. Id say that was a decent test of how cleanable the pad is. It doesnt seem any worse for wear. I rarely say just buy it for a review. But honestly, if our cat accepts it, and it hasnt given us any problems in months, it has to be on the short list of purchases I have absolutely no regret over. He loves it, he feels better, he actually uses it, it didnt cost much at all. I dont know how much more one could ask for.
