Exactly what I needed and pretty good quality and easy to install start to finish 20 mins.

I had huge install problems. That is by the design of my apartment, and not the product. After having to mount 2x4s because of the wall design being both weak, and having a 24 inch stud span, the TV mount holds tight to the mounted boards. Even if this product was not designed to fit my case, I was able install, and the TV is still tight to the wall after over a year. The swivel, tilt, and swing range are very good, in my opinion.

Everything about this product is great except one minor issue. It is strong, sturdy, it have a good range of movement, it feels secured. However in the USA standard stud width is between 12-24 inches on center. Most of the time it is 16 inches which is what this measures end to end, however the people that built my basement put them at 24, so I had to McGuyver a solution, but this more an issue with my house than this product. But, check your studs before you order this item in case you have standard but outside the most common normal spacings.

What a great product for the price. The small wall I wanted to put it on didn’t have studs in the right places. If we mounted where they were the mount would have had to go to the very far right or flush up against the side wall. Basically the small wall had just 3 studs. So we used the one in the middle and used two of the bolts. Then on the upper left corner and right lower corner we added an additional screw. Now I just need to remove the wood shelf that my smaller older tv was on. It took my dad and I about an hour to hang. My dad was very impressed with the mount but also with all the different screws and spacers included.

Seems very sturdy, and like that I can pull the TV away from the wall to get to components behind it. Comes with helpful template for installation and lots of fasteners, but I ended up buying my own because I didnt trust the ones that came with it (I wanted more heavy duty fasteners). You have to be pretty precise with all the measurements when mounting, because there is not much adjustment that can be done once the mount is on the wall (but I suppose thats true of anything). Overall, it was a good purchase especially for the price, and the mount itself seems strong but I wouldnt trust the fasteners that came with it to hold up my $1000+ TV.

Overall this wasn’t challenging to install. We ran into the problem of not having a socket wrench and our drill could not support the bolt we had to screw into the studs. This just prolonged the process. If we had the tools before hand this would’ve been a breeze. It would be helpful if one, the paper directions listed all the correct tools needed, and two, if these tools needed were listed with the item online.

Fantastic product. Bought two so TVs would both have the same exact mount. While reviewing prior to purchase, I noticed this mount had the highest rating of any product I have ever searched for on Amazon. I can see why. Extremely rugged, well constructed, strong, easy to mount, includes EVERYTHING you need. You wont need most of the hardware that comes with it because it gives you everything that just about anyone would need for any installation. Even a level and a very high-quality HDMI cable! Strongly recommend. I noted that a handful of the many thousands of reviews said they could not mount it because it was only 16 inches wide. Building code in the US has required 16 in wall studs for longer than I am old - 70 plus years. IF your wall studs are wider than 16 inches, I dont know where you live but it wont work for you. Dont give a product a bad review just because you purchased it for a situation where it is not designed to work. You will be very pleased with this mount. Watch the video. This mount does everything the demo shows and is very easy to mount, adjust, and secure a heavy TV.

This is a great mount, very easy to install. However a few things to note: - Fireplace mount - If you are mounting over a fireplace, it is likely that there is a gap of 24 in the center of the fireplace where there are no studs. This is usually to allow room for the metal flu. This mount does not allow for installs greater than 16. However, this company also makes extension brackets which are available on Amazon prime for less then 20 bucks (Mounting Dream MD5231 TV Wall Mount Extended Bracket For 16” Wall plate, Fitting 18” - 24” Wood Stud). Even if you have to buy the extension mounts its still a good value and attaching the mount to the extension bracket was simple. - Tilting - The titling action did not work as I expected. Yes, you can tilt the TV, but it is more intended to tilt to the angle you want and then tighten the tilting hardware. If you dont tighten the hardware, the weight of the TV causes it to tilt all the forward. Maybe this just my TV, or how it is intended. Not a big deal either way, after having set the tilt angle, Ive never felt the need to change it.

This was delivered to me with the factory tape seals broken and taped with packing tape. When I opened it, I found it was missing the levels, the HDMI cable, and directions. It also did not come with the lag bolts. I was sent an obviously used unit. Returning it and having a new one sent. Other than that, it seems like a solid mount and if it had all the parts it says it did, you would have an easy to install mount. Update: I received the replacement from Amazon. This wall-mount is very well made. It feels precise with no play in the adjustments. It just moves when you want to. Very easy to get it just right. It is solid, well-built, and easy to get level. Additionally, it has the ability to adjust your TV to raise/lower one side up to 3 degree if you dont have it perfect on the wall.

First thing to do is throw away the included level....the one I received wasn’t accurate. I used one of the levels I already had. I took the arm portion off from the wall plate before mounting to the wall. Just too difficult to mount unless you’re just dealing with only the plate. I had trouble locating studs inside my stucco wall (I mounted this on an outside patio wall). So I used 6 lag screws and 6 wall anchors (2 of the lag screws and 6 of the wall anchors were not included). It’s very firmly in place. After getting the wall plate attached to the wall, I reattached the arm mechanism. Once that was done, I attached the TV. I mounted this unit 8 ft up the patio wall. Fortunately I have a Genie Lift that made it easier to put the TV in the exact, necessary location to attach to the mount. Overall it’s a well made unit and VERY economically priced. Would highly recommend.
