This isnt for your Syrian, trust me. The compartments are perfect and snug for my dwarf hammy, but i cant imagine a syrian being able to fit. Its wonderfully sturdy. I put my hammys food and water on top to keep it out of the fluff. She nests inside. I put it on top of a mound of bedding so she can burrow down (the bottom is open). Wipe it down with a damp cloth if it gets dirty, but its a great addition.

Our hamster absolutely loves this box! She has made one room a sleeping room, she has a chew toy in one, she hides food in one, and she pees in one. I love that you can easily remove the top to check on her with minimal interruption. Highly recommend for hamster owners!

My large Syrian female already loves her new hideout. Im getting the 11 inch wodent wheel to put on top of my lovely six room large hamster hide. It doesnt seem to trigger her destructive side, so thats a relief. And to the reviewer who complained about the wood not being finished, you wouldnt want your critter to consume paint finish.(food for thought)

This was surprisingly big, but my dwarf hamster likes it. Definitely good for a syrian too. This house is perfect for a more chic/minimalist/natural cage theme. Itll stain though since its wood.

I adopted a ghost hamster, one who is shy around people despite socializing attempts, and he seems to love this house. Hes a large Syrian and this offers plenty of room. The lid comes off for easy health checks and cleanings. My hamster uses the room farthest from the entrance as his sleeping food storage 1 space. the middle room is extra food storage and he keeps the entrance empty. It seems he likes having all those options within the home, especially since hes shy. The top of the home offers a great space to add his dust bath and other cage features. Its very sturdy and I had no problems with the seller.

Have really liked Niteangles other products. This is a great hide. Was a bit disappointed that it came broken at an edge. Edit: Got sent a replacement product. Revamped the rating to 5 stars.
