> 3 dayI HATE this software because they are constantly pushing Norton add ons. For as much as you pay per year, I shouldnt have to buy any add ons. But every day they are popping up trying to get me to purchase another type of add on. I do feel like it protects all our devices. But the bombardment of ads is unconscionable.

> 3 dayAfter installing the product, the internet stopped responding quickly. The connection is hanging while Norton is doing something. When I turned it off, the internet begins connecting. I had expected that the antivirus/VPN/malware protector would run silently without interfering with the performance of your computer. It does not seemed to be the case because by the time it connects to VPN-Internet-Wi-Fi [I personally do not know the sequence of how it is getting connected] you should be ready to give birth. Also, live updates connected to Wi-Fi on the phone too. Thus, if you are not connected to Wi-Fi, you are not getting updates. I loved Norton before. Now, I have serious doubts about the performance & quality. It might improve with updates, but not it is a struggle based upon my experience.

Between You and Me
> 3 dayJuly seems to be when Norton is a steal at Amazon. I dont have 10 devices, but I can share the registration code with someone who is not in my household. Once you enter the code during the registration process, your year starts, even if you dont load the other licenses onto other devices for weeks or months later. This also means that if you buy several copies of the software (say, a great sale price), you can just stockpile those licenses for several years until you need them. (Personally, I wouldnt buy more than several years worth, as a lot changes in software, and there may be dramatic upgrades that youd want, such as new cybersecurity protections not yet developed.) 1- The Big Thing: Yes, you have to use a credit or debit card, or PayPayl, to register your Norton product. (For Shame, Norton.) I dont think its much protection to use PayPal to keep your private info from Norton, as both PayPal and Norton would seem to be prime targets for data hackers. 2 - Canceling Auto-Renewal: As Soon as I Finished Registration, I went into the options of my account (you will have to create one if you dont have one already), and I canceled auto-renewal. I didnt have to call anyone (maybe Norton paid attention to the reviews here), but I did have to go through a 3-click process to cancel, as Norton tried to pressure me to keep the auto renewal. (Shame, Norton.) You just keep clicking that you dont want it, and youre done in 10 seconds. 3 - Ease of setting up: The set-up link requires you to first read the Terms of Service, but then didnt take me to the right page for entering the registration code. I went round about through various web pages, but I think logging in, if you have an account, might have been the better way to start. When I did, I finally got the text box to enter the code. (Be sure to have cookies enabled for the set up, but I did not have to disable Adblock Plus or Ghostery, another blocking app.) 4 - Downloading: I already had Norton on my laptop. I did not have to do anything to the old version, including uninstalling it. Norton asks you to download the new version, and installation was very quick and problem-free. With my cable ISP, it took just a couple of minutes. 5 - If this is your first time using Norton, plan a good 30 minutes to go through every option to customize your Norton product as to how you want Norton to function. Its tedious, but after that, new installs retain your settings. 6 - The most important option -- automatic update: Ive been a user of Norton for decades. Ive never had a virus, malware, attack, or other problem. But I also play it smart and careful when Im online, and its critical to keep Norton updated as cyberattacks happen round the clock. This is the only app/software that I allow to automatically update itself, which happens whenever I go online. (I do not leave my computer connected to the Internet 24/7, for security.) The update happens behind the scenes, so to speak, is quick, and never interferes with the function of my browser. I also have Norton automatically scan my computer for viruses, malware, etc. Let Norton do its job. I hope all of that helps you.

> 3 dayI will not allow Norton to renew my subscription, they charge almost DOUBLE the cost of just rebuying it! It is annoying I need to do that each year because I have to change the license on each notebook I have it on, but well worth the savings.

Greater than one weekStop with the pop-ups already. If this was really premium you wouldnt hijack my computer with out of place (so you cant close it easily) web page pop-ups (that youre supposed to be blocking), telling me I need to buy more software.

Greater than one weekIT APPEARS THIS PACKAGE HAS SOMEWHAT IMPROVED OPERATIONAL FEATURES AND DOCUMENTATION. NORTON HAS RESOLVED ISSUES ON THINGS SUCH AS HIDING PROCEDURE FOR CANCELLATION OF AUTO-RENEWAL FEATURE. OPERATIONALLYTHUS FAR, IT APPEARS THAT MY PC IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN MY WIRELESS CONNECTION (WHILE PC IN SLEEP MODE). THIS PREVIOUSLY OCCURRED FREQUENTLY AFTER INSTALLATION OF 2020 NORTON 360. NOT SURE IF THIS WAS A NORTON ISSUE, AN OPERATING SYSTEM PROBLEM, OR PROVIDER MANIPULATING BANDWIDTH DURING LATE EVENING AND EARLY MORNING HOURS. IT IS GOOD TO SEE WIRELESS INTEGRITY APPEARS TO BE RESTORED. THIS AMAZON PURCHASE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1/5 OF THE COST OF THAT OF THE OEM RENEWAL PROCESS AND PERMITS 10 USERS INSTEAD OF 3. IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED FOR APPROIMATELY ONE WEEK, SO I WILL AWAIT MORE TIME TO EVALUATE THE REMAINDER OF THE PACKAGE. SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE COMMENT, THE INSTALLATION TIME WAS SOMEWHAT LENGTHY.

> 3 dayLove the features on Norton 360. Offers protection for 10 computer or mobile devices. Price is very reasonable and protection is above standard. Great value for the price!

> 3 dayLike the protection but really DISLIKE the constant manipulation to try to get you to purchase additions to the program! I paid a high price for the program and if I want additional features I dont need your reoccurring ads within the program Ive already paid for!!! Probably will NOT purchase again.

> 3 dayFirst - Nortons the best - always has been, I also use Malwarebytes and together they havent missed a thing for many, many years. Now... The claim is that you have to use a valid credit card to activate this and then you can go in and easily deactivate auto-renew. I tried using a Visa gift card - even one with a valid address and they wont accept those so had to use a real one. I dont want auto-renew as I dont want to pay 5 times the price one year from now - if this wasnt a scam then they would not be forcing it upon us. Now comes that easy part where you deactivate auto-renew right away - not gonna happen. The belief is youll just give up and forget about it and get slammed one year from now at a much higher price than you just finished paying today. Who knows, maybe in a year youll actually think, oh, that was nice of them and oh so easy, I didnt have to do anything accept pay a huge bill Stay the course - dont give up, after about 3 on line help sessions those elusive buttons that simply didnt seem to work will be activated for you by someone in India whos never heard of this before - trust me, this is the only thing these fellows have ever heard of. Ill be reading many reviews next year of other anti-virus software if this insane thing is still being force fed by Norton as, in my opinion, this is just about as bad as the viruses you bought it to protect you from.
