> 3 dayI bought the Osprey Atmos back several years ago when they first came out and didnt like it much. It wasnt vert comfortable so I bought a Grant gear crown vic and used it instead. now however I am getting older and in less great shape so I have slowed down greatly. I dont focus in putting the miles behind me any more so I take heavyer loads and walk less miles. I like to fish and hunt and cook on a campfire now. I also take fresh stakes and ribs to grill over a camp fire now so all that adds a lot of weight to a once ultra light backpacking set up. I will have to say that the atmos has came a long way since I bought one when they first came out. i really like this one now especially for heavier loads My granite gear backpack was great for 15 to 20 lbs or so but not so much for 25 to 30 lbs so I will have to say the redesigned Atmos backpacks are very comfortable for that with a lot of bells and whistles I miss out on with an ultralight pack. I highly recommend this pack for heavier loads of 20 to 30 lbs

> 3 dayPicked this up for a backpacking trip. First time backpacking. Carried about 30-35lbs using the 65L pack over about 25 miles of ground. Pack is absolutely top shelf all the way. Great pocket placement. Intuitive design. Loved the mesh back to keep your back cool. Nothing put praise for this pack. The people I traveled with, all seasoned and salty hikers, had heard of Osprey but never used their stuff. They were also impressed. I would pick up the extra Osprey rain cover for this. It takes up no space, weighs nothing, and totally covers the pack. Its not very expensive, and well worth the addition.

> 3 dayJust received it. I read many reviews on backpacks and this one fit my needs. I am packing it for a long weekend trip and it will handle everything I need to pack. I love how it fits. I hope I feel the same after the trip! After the long weekender, I am planning a week-long trip.

Greater than one weekBuying a highly related $270 backpack, I naively thought it would a decent all-arounder. Turns out that its really bad at handling loads heavier than 40+- lbs. Did a 4 days 40 miles loop in the Cascades. First day was bearable, but by the second I had shoulder and neck pain and my skin around both sides of my hips almost started bleeding (see photo). Im not a novice to backpacking, nor am I a thin guy; the load really wasnt that heavy but, the suspension system on this backpack prioritizes ventilation over ergonomics and long-distance hauling ability. There are many great things about it so I might keep it for short, summer time overnight trips - as the ventilation system does work quite well - but would never depend on it for 4-5 days trips.

> 3 dayThis backpack fits well on the waist and shoulders. It feels like it can carry much more weight comfortably than off brand backpacks. All the features make it well worth the price. I would recommend this product first over all other products of the similar nature.

> 3 dayVery great backpack for backpacking the anti-gravity suspension is amazing, the lid is removable and this pack has all the bells and whistles. Very durable with an almighty lifetime guarantee. Not the lightest pack but definitely not the heaviest especially with the AG suspension. I’ve took this pack on a 13 day backpacking trip and it preforms amazing. YouTube-HIKER RAY

Greater than one weekThe anti-gravity tech works really well and the bag has pockets in all the right places. I especially like the front side harness pockets that are like mini fanny packs and the two back side pockets that offer a lot of space with easy access.
