> 3 dayI did a lot of research on packs before settling on this one. Its comfortable, and has tons of pockets and features. I also really like the mesh back which reduces sweating.

Greater than one week65 miles on the at this pack is a perfomer make sure you measure twice to get the right size bag if it doesnt fit you correctly it will not ride and distribute the load evenly across your body. Overall carried more than enough in this pack storage is plentiful the material is durable and the best part is osprey backs their equipment up for life.

> 3 dayThe only thing I could complain about is the fact that the Osprey packs do not come with rain covers. However, since I knew that going in, I ordered a separate cover from another vendor at a great price. Osprey offers a brand name rain cover with the cool logo but the price is prohibitive. Im not hiking the A/T to look good; its all about function.

> 3 dayI bought this backpack because of all the positive reviews I read across the internet. I was not disappointed. The designers of this pack seem to have thought of everything. I loved the fit, the capacity of the pack, the outer mesh pocket, the hip pockets, and the water bottle holders on the sides. This is a great backpack!

11-06-2025For the money I was expecting to be able to fit more in there. When you put a full water bag in the main compartment it reduces the amount of volume for other things. The bed roll straps are a bit short and if it rains the waterproof cover sold separately will not cover your bed roll. I wound up having to carry my bedroll by hand in the rain as the straps are hidden by the cover. I guess its ok if the bedroll gets soaked (sarcasm). Furthermore with the rain cover on it is difficult to get the pack on as you need to thread your arms through the straps but not get hung up in the waterproof cover. If you are by yourself this can be a bit of a challenge. It can also be difficult to get the side strap compartments to unfold with the rain cover on. I wound up just foregoing using the waist belt when it was raining. I personally would recommend a poncho that will cover the whole setup if you expect to encounter rain. Youll be more comfortable and all your stuff will remain dry. The plus side is that this was a very comfortable pack to wear when dry and my shoulders never became too sore over the course of the day. It was easy to control comfort by alternately tightening and loosening the waist belt so that the hips take more or less of the load.

> 3 dayUsed bag one trip! Loved it packed for second trip the following weekend and the outside zipper popped off! Osprey says online 10-12 weeks hoping when I come back from this weekend trip it will be less then that! Will redo this review after dealing with Customer service

> 3 dayThis pack was great. I just got back from a 6-day hike in Denali National park. After much research, I purchased this pack to replace an old one that had finally seen the end of an illustrious career. The only complaint I really have is the straps that hold the hip belt area in place slip all the time. So what starts sitting on your hips quickly slides down putting the weight of the pack on your shoulders. I ended up having to tie a knot in each strap to keep it from working loose on our hike. Other than that, no complaints.

Greater than one weekI love this pack so far. Im an entry level backpacker and I used this to pack all my things amd it fot them perfectly. I dont have any expensive ultra light or ultra compact gear and this still accommodated me perfectly fine on my trip. Would recommend. I found the pouches very convienent.
