PDF Pro 3 - PDF editor to create, edit, convert and merge PDFs - 100% Compatible with Adobe Acrobat - for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 7

This program is for manipulating pdf files and it does that very nicely, I can add text, move and remove text and do a myriad of other thing to a pdf document. The only negative Ive found is that when I print a document to convert it to a pdf it wont print--that is it does not do the conversion. That is of little consequence however as the programs that originally created the documents have a pdf conversion function. I suspect that the printing/conversion problem my be something that Im not doing and will learn what it is in time.

Finding an affordable PDF converter program was a pain in the you-know-what. Most programs are actually subscriptions, not technology you buy and own. I needed the converter as I had lost the working files of one of my books due to a technical glitch. All I had was the PDF that the folks at Amazon very kindly sent to me. After months of looking over available technology I settled on this program.

Crashed A LOT and my computer guy told me this happens a lot!!

The software is very difficult to work with. NOT SMOOTH AS DESCRIBED ON AMAZON. NOT WORTH THE $$$$$ PAID FOR IT.

Two things of interest about this product. I have been using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Got a .pdf from a friend the other day, wanted to print it out. Adobe said I needed a different font to print, but, no way could I get whatever it wanted to download. I fired up this up, hit print, and away it went, now that is what I wanted. Second, I had a minor problem on one of my installs, a quick email to their support address and I had a quick reply and an instant fix to the problem. I can only say that is does what I want and their customer support is quick and customer oriented. Would definitely recommend them.

Every time I use the software, it goes on the blink several times and have to reboot and lost all the edited information and have to repeat. A REAL TIME WASTING SOFTWARE!!!

It took ages to get it to load in the first place - multiple attempts and it was a miracle that it finally did because I did nothing different (except pray, seriously). Whereas with Adobe you can click on the files you want to merge in Windows Explorer & go through the process, with this you have to open the program up separately and add them and thats just inconvenient. But it really reaches new lows when you actually get into joining them. Its extremely fickle and throws a wobbly if you try and save the merged document as an existing name (i.e. overwriting the old document to which youre adding new bits) or indeed if you decline to open the merged file and worship its supposedly awesome power. If you just want to crack on and save it then think again. It will pretend its saved it but then when youve deleted the old version and go to open the new one it shows you a blank document and awards you an error message instead. If youve not got a backup of the old one saved elsewhere youre then going to have to start hunting for it in the recycle bin or youre buggered. It may be cheap software but its not worth it. The burning hoops youll have to jump through (while juggling two-headed baby seals and singing the national anthem backwards) will stretch your patience further than an over-used bungee rope on its final outing. Do yourself a favour, find something else. Thats what Im going to do now.
