It is waste of Money, the program comes with stupid add and it freezes. They should stop selling this junk..

Its a good program not as user friendly and I thought I had ordered Adobe since they are very similar in appearance.

Application may have problems with Windows 10. Uninstalling the application (previously working), rebooting, and reinstalling, reactivating appears to fix the issue. I like the fact that the application is a one time purchase, ie not subscription based. I don’t want or need a PDF subscription, but given the widespread use of the format, it helps to be able to modify PDF documents. I still use Adobe Reader just to open/review documents. For the price and as long as it can be made to work, it’s worth the (low) price. I could not find any non subscription based alternatives.

“Ashampoo PDF Pro 2” is an excellent pdf file editor that I purchased at amazon.com in August 2020. I’ve used it to remove unwanted names, phone numbers, and emails on a pdf file with surprising ease. I’ve also deleted pages in a couple of pdf files.

Does what I need

I actually bought this for my laptop but was unable to load is on the SurfaceGo. I did load it on my home desktop computer and it works well.

It took ages to get it to load in the first place - multiple attempts and it was a miracle that it finally did because I did nothing different (except pray, seriously). Whereas with Adobe you can click on the files you want to merge in Windows Explorer & go through the process, with this you have to open the program up separately and add them and thats just inconvenient. But it really reaches new lows when you actually get into joining them. Its extremely fickle and throws a wobbly if you try and save the merged document as an existing name (i.e. overwriting the old document to which youre adding new bits) or indeed if you decline to open the merged file and worship its supposedly awesome power. If you just want to crack on and save it then think again. It will pretend its saved it but then when youve deleted the old version and go to open the new one it shows you a blank document and awards you an error message instead. If youve not got a backup of the old one saved elsewhere youre then going to have to start hunting for it in the recycle bin or youre buggered. It may be cheap software but its not worth it. The burning hoops youll have to jump through (while juggling two-headed baby seals and singing the national anthem backwards) will stretch your patience further than an over-used bungee rope on its final outing. Do yourself a favour, find something else. Thats what Im going to do now.

Im very happy with this application. Easy to use. Great value for the money. Why go with Adobe and pay their their expensive price when you can buy this application for less than the price of one month of Adobe? I dont regret my purchase one bit!

I installed PDF Pro 2 on Windows 10 Home without any problems. I have used most of the features of this software with success. The help user guide is excellent and has answered all my questions. I have never used Adobe PDF so PDF Pro 2 is my first experience. I had one minor problem with numbering odd number pages on the lower left and numbering even page numbers on lower right in the same document. I was able to work around this problem and am still waiting to hear from Ashampoo. I have bought this product for my daughter and highly recommend it.
