Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. Tube

This grease is easy to use out of its own container. You can use a little or a lot according to your application. The grease definitely works to help lubricate electrical connections.

This grease will remove the ticking on your keyboard Stabalizer.

This requires a little thinking before slapping it on. this dielectric is not a conductor, it is actually an insulator. It is silicone and silicone is an insulator that does not dry out but it does smear everywhere easily so you have to be careful where you put it. It is designed to seal out water around the perimeters of rubber boot connectors in other places you dont want water to enter. It is not designed for the electrical pins, or sockets, etc. Google diakectric uses to make sure you understand before using this product. There is a silver based silicon product that is great for conducting electricity and helping out electrical connections if thats really what you need. This is an insulator not a conductor so when used properly its a great product and does what it supposed to do, insulating electrical boots etc free of water. good for using along the side a rubber spark plug boots, but not on the tip or the electricity flows. bottom line: earned five stars! Use of this product is often misunderstood so do a little research first.

Great price, fast delivery. I’ve used this for creating a coating on disc brake slide pins, and rear brakes backing plates. Electric connections and on bulbs to prevent corrosion. Great product.

Great product

Great product for keeping rust and corrosion out of electrical connections. I used it to coat lugs on my electric boat, and the connection studs on the electric 48V motor. (I have used the automotive red battery spray prior to this; overspray can be messy on the boat that has 16 batteries!) I would like to see a 2 extension nozzle to screw on the top to accurately put the grease on smaller and hard-to-reach connections.

It works great. Used it to lube the stabs on my keyboard and it did the job fine. Still have plenty left over. You could probably do like 50 keyboards with this little tube

This was recommended to me by the mechanical keyboard community as a lubricant for my keyboard’s stabilizers. I specifically used it where the metal piece touches plastic; it gave it a smoother actuation of my keys. The thickness of the grease worked amazingly well! Well worth the price to improve my typing experience.
