> 3 dayI actually received a USA Version of this game. A lot of slimy sellers are deceptively listing the World Edition under the USA listing since the price is higher. You will need to ask around to find an honest seller. May take one or two orders. The build quality of the World Edition cartridge, box, and plastic film is much lower quality than the original USA release. The World Edition cartridges will work on US consoles, but it feels like a cheap knockoff. Very pleased I got what I paid for.

> 3 dayThis game improves on a bunch of flaws in earlier games, but I want to mention a couple of things that kept me from making a 5 star rating. The main story is kind of bleh... The main villains in the game that you encounter, Team Flair, are about as one-demensional as a cardboard cutout in a supermarket. They are basically team rocket with a change of clothing. The cookie cutter enemies in the game have always bothered me in pokemon games, and this one is no different. Stop being lazy nintendo! Secondly, while it is amazing you can easily trade with other players online, you cant say anything to them unless they are on your friends list. So basically if you start a trade with another player, neither person can understand what the other wants. Why cant we just type in what we are looking for?? Third, but not at all least. It is easy to scam people when trading pokemon online because you for some reason cannot view detailed stats about the pokemon you are trading for. Want an adamant ditto? Well just hope the other player is honest, because there is no guarantee that is what you will get. Fourth. Why no item deposit box? I want to store the items I dont use, and I dont want to put them on pokemon in the pc. This is a basic useful feature and I still have no idea why they took it out.

Greater than one weekI love Pokemon Y. When it first came out and in the following months, I maxed out the timer on the hours played. This is a fantastic game and I was super excited to play through it again. The sellers customer service is also excellent! I had some questions about my order and the answered back within 10 minutes

13-06-2025Im a big fan of the gen I and gen II games but went on a hiatus since then. Bought a 3ds and loved replaying the Yellow Version via virtual console. Again sparking my curiosity in the franchise... Wow have things changed.. First thing I noticed is how much easier the games have gotten. Literally no challenges, the gym leaders are a joke, even went through the elite 4 in one shot. I remember you used to have to work your ass off for that. Catching Pokémon is hardly ever a challenge in my experiences, lower hp and your good to go. The entire story is dull and is the same old thing, Use your Pokémon youve treated with love to defeat your opponents who use them for evil. Corny as hell ending by the way. Should I mention they are definetly running out of ideas for new Pokémon. Seriously ridiculous and boring designs. The WiFi functions such as GTS are a nice feature and graphics look nice. Other than that, I dont have much good to say. The Pokémon company is really just cashing out on a winning formula. Dont get me wrong, the idea of catching Pokémon and training them is always fun, just not as satisfying as it used to be.

> 3 dayShipped very quickly from seller, cart was in good condition. The game is pretty fun to play, I like the setting and the graphics for sure. Did not like the roller skates and camera changes in some cities! I would recommend it to any Pokemon fan or potential Pokemon fan.

> 3 dayLove the game. Much easier than the originals with a lot to do. Its easier to make money although poke balls are useless just about come later in the game so just go buy the more expensive balls. Lots of pokemon to collect, the trading system is awesome. The safari friend zone is garbage because you cant get in or at least I have yet to figure out how due to the problems with the friend codes and what not. I also was annoyed that the trainers (the final four or whatever they are called) not only hide behind a bunch of other trainers before you even get to them but they are themed so its really easy to beat them with the right group. Also annoying that the other trainers you encounter use super potions all day long mid fight so you need to get tons of those too. Still a pretty cool game though.

> 3 dayThis game had so much hype over the last few months... And it definitely deserved it! Although this may be since I am a Pokémon fanboy, I absolutely loved the constant references to older games and the extremely well-made music all throughout this game. The 3D models were stunning, especially since it was the first time 3D models were used in a mainstream Pokémon game, and it made the battles so much more dynamic. The story was lacking however, and though I do not want to spoil too much, try not to expect any major plot twists or anything like those seen in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2; but then again, Pokémon is less about the story and more about the adventure anyway, so this is not too huge a flaw. Overall, I adore this game and although I did not cover some other amazing features in it (Mega Evolution, the friend system, customizing your character, etc.), it is absolutely beautiful and I would love to see all Pokéfans, old and new, to play this game and enjoy it as much as I did.

> 3 dayIve only been playing since Sinho(D/P), but this is by far my favorite of the series(even including ASOR). The end of the main story actually made me tear up, and Ive never had a Nintendo game do that. Not to mention all the improvements to the gameplay itself. I had high expectations for this game, and it exceeded all of them. B+W was a disappointment to many(myself included, why it took me so long to get this game), but I beg you not to give up on the new generations just yet.

> 3 dayI have played pokemon since the beginning (blue progressing onward). I stopped playing at platinum. I decided to pick up the newest one and said why the hell not. Well. . . I just really dont see the difficulty in it at all granted it is a pokemon game. I feel as though previous generation of pokemon games had more of a challenge factor to them than Pokemon Y. This game is just easy. Cons: Hardly any use of HMs outside the field of battle, TMs are unlimited (seriously why unlimited it takes the challenge out of the game in my opinion), the story is boring/pointless doesnt really inspire me to keep playing the story part but its pretty much linear so you have to, and this new generation of pokemon arent the greatest just blase. (Not a purist by the way first generation wasnt the greatest either. I actually like 3rd generation/4th generation.) Pros: Berry system is awesome. Easier to grow what you want and pretty lenient on growing them and getting to them once they blossomed. The transportation between the roller skates and bike is great! Like switching between the two. The battle system is really smooth other than when youre fight five of them at one time (unless you have a move like earthquake that hits all five). The cities that you go to are truly unique in their own way. I actually like the towns in-between that dont have gyms. Gives it more of a real world feel to it. The online features are awesome! Probably my favorite feature is the virtual trainer and the little play with your pokemon deal (sorry forgot name). Sorta brings back the feel of pokemon yellow where you got to play with your pikachu! Overall its not too bad. If you like the online aspect of this game being able to play with other players around the world, trading, and battling get this! If youre looking for some of the old school fun well then I wouldnt get it.
