Raspberry Pi RASPBERRY-PI3-CASE Official Raspberry Pi 3 Case, Red/White

I really like this case but perhaps it needs a little more ventilation because the device generates some heat.

A little more pricey than some of the other cases, but everything is readily accessible without modification and snaps together.

This case keeps the Raspberry Pi electronics safe, as I use it as a home server for many automation tasks, and all connectors (except GPIO and cammera) are accessible from the outside, including the micro sd card.

easy to snap together, got very hot when the top was on, so now my pi 3 lives in this case without the top...

The case looks identical to the image on Amazon. The white on raspberry red gives the case an elegant look. The cases bottom portion fits the pi board perfectly with the plastic mount lining up exactly to the holes on the board. The sides and the top snap into the case and line up with no obstructions to the ports. A couple of thought not so much problems as so much pssoible troublesomes are how light the case is and the lack of ventilation. The case is extremely light which can be good and bad. To get it to stay put on my desk I had to put a Velcro backing to the bottom of the case and the desk. Double sided tape would work perfectly as well. A lack of case Ventilation worries me because as you can tell there is no fan that comes with the case and the last thing you want to do is run the pi hot and melt the case. Ive been told this is not a problem since your not over clocking the chip and the pi shouldnt get that hot. My one con of this product would be the opening for the microsd card. The opening is not that big enough which obstructs the card from going into the pi and being ejected. My only solution to this is taking the case apart to access the microsd card. Overall I believe this case is great for the housing of the raspberry pi 3 and I would defiantly buy again.

Bought this as part of a RetroPie build since I couldnt find an NES classic. The Raspberry Pi 3 model B board fits in here perfectly. It just snaps together. The build quality seems excellent for a plastic case. It looks more professional than some of the other 3D printed ones I have seen. You have access to all of the ports, and it is really easy to take apart if you need to change something.

This case is very well made, very sturdy, and fits the Raspberry Pi 3 very well. The case is fairly light, but still feels strong. I like how the case pieces together, so you dont have to have all pieces on it if you dont want or need to. Overall, great case in great colors.

Perfect case for the Raspberry Pi 3. The board sits nicely within the case without any needed mounting hardware. I love that you can remove to top to show off the hardware.

I tested 4 different Raspberry Pi cases, and so far, this one is my favorite. Its very easy to assemble; the pieces click together without having to put too much force; its easy to open it; and if youre using your Pi for some DIY projects with external parts (GPIO etc.) its very easy to open just the top, or just the side (to access the GPIO header).

Im using my wifes account to buy all this stuff. But this case is great! It looks good and the Pi motherboard fits right in! Its made well and seems durable! The seller did great, highly recommended!
