Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

Having gotten a new Windows 10 computer, I decided to also upgrade to this version of Roxio, which I purchased at Best Buy. When trying to burn a large set of songs, in the MP3 format, I was prompted to insert a dual layer DVD, not a CD. I could not burn my playlist, and worse, I could get no help from Roxio support. Thinking that maybe the Roxio disk was flawed, I removed the program from my computer, and downloaded one from Amazon. Same result. When I decided to make a much smaller playlist and record it in the normal CD format. the program recorded the song out of the sequence I wanted. I used Roxio on my two older computers with no issue. This is just a huge disappointment. I dont know who to turn to for help, because no one from Roxio has stepped up to help me or offer any help.

Ive been able to accomplish only about half of what I should be able to do with this software. While Im no technical expert, usually I can figure out ways to get the job done. perhaps the software works but I cant figure out how to confirm this. And Ive tried about 12 times with some success, just not complete success. The thing is, the features I most needed are the ones that dont work. At all. I have had to revert back to using another cheaper product to get my video recording and converting done. its ended up taking extra time. A suggestion for the developer of this product is to update the instructions and interface to ensure the user can get the intended use and value of their purchase.

Well, in the day Roxio was the best...for it’s time. I originally used creator 1. This version is a well over bloated piece of software. At best it can do some basic tasks but not as elegantly as one would expect. My biggest complaint is that in order to install it in my studio (music) computer I need to be connected to the internet. I have purposefully kept my studio system off the internet for a great many good reasons. My music studio is for recording music and all the internet will do is bring me sorrow in the form of viruses etc. I was able to install it on my laptop which was connected to the internet. All this may seem reasonable if you are thinking about purchase verification. But wait, the software never went out and verified the serial number via the internet for the laptop. So what gives? No problem, I will drag the whole system down stairs and connect it. It will give me an opportunity to clean the dust out of the case. It’s not bad software, really. But they could do better by 2020

very easy to copy disk that are NOT copy protected. Easy to burn ISO file to disk

Used years ago and it worked great. Save your money, and look elsewhere.

Roxio Easy CD & DV Burning 2 easy to use and economical to buy. Ive used Roxio many years with an older version that came with one of the computers I bought years ago. Always has been easy to understand and use.

Bought this to burn some old home movies onto a blu ray disk since they were too large to fit onto a DL dvd. Even paid and installed the additional blu ray burning plug in they said i needed. NO go. Burns blu ray data just fine, but will not burn movies to a blu ray. rip off and very misleading package. States it burns blu ray but I guess they should say only for data backup. does not author bluray to play in dvd players.

I used the original Easy CD & DVD Burning program for ten years on my Windows 7 PC. When I switched to a Windows 10 machine, I bought this updated version. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it does what I need it to do and it does it simply. I am a hobbyist - a music collector - and I make a lot of my own mix CDs. I only use the program for CDs, so I cant tell anyone about how it works for DVDs. The CDs come out sounding great, the metadata transfers and displays information on the screen in my car and the discs I burn are compatible with all of my players. And the software is priced right.
