> 24 hourFast and reliable, you cannot go wrong with a Samsung M.2 nvme drive. They cost more than most, but they are worth it in the long run.

> 24 hourWorks like a dream. Had an issue finding the m2 screw that came with my motherboard, but after finding that the install was easy.

> 24 hourInstalled the Samsung 970 NVMe SSD 1TB in my Macbook A1398 yesterday. So far, so good – haven’t had a chance to test it hard in the real world, but my before and after read/write stats show an impressive improvement. Apple SSD - 1876/1255 vs. Samsung 970 - 3028/2572 (MB/Sec).

> 24 hourI built a new computer with this, so I cannot speak on the ease of copying an existing Drive image onto it.

> 24 hourSamsung is still faster than almost any other M.2, and their prices are dropping little by little. Realistically you only notice a difference between the PRO and EVO on paper because theyre too fast to be noticeable. Ive used everybody elses too, though, and my biggest condition is price anymore. A Westen Digital is a Toshiba OCZ is an XPG Gammix as far as noticeable speed to the naked eye. The difference will be how long they last. And in years now, Ive never had a single failure with an M.2 (and only 1 DOA on a standard sata SSD, a Mushkin Triactor). I have at least 1 HDD in every system I build for back up, but so far never needed it in any build. Im personally using 4 computers all the time, and building and selling 2-3 a month so Ive got some real world perspective. Samsungs great, for now, fast and reliable.

> 24 hourThis is my first ever NVMe SSD. Decided to go with PCIe instead of SATA based on reviews. MSI X470 gaming pro Mobo detected the drive without any hassles. Installed Windows 10 on it with GPT partitioning. I got the impression that the install time was tad faster than usual. Also load times of installed software seems to be faster. Im coming from a Samsung 850 Evo 2.5 inch SSD. Since this was a new build my new mobo came with 2 screws for installing the SSD. Only one is required here which I used with this drive. Would had been better if Samsung had included a screw for people who are upgrading and might have misplaced the original one that comes with mobo. Its just one screw. How much of a cost saving that would be? Although from what Ive heard none of the NVMe drive manufactures include one in their package, which seems odd.
