If you dont need some crazy Gen 4 version of NVME, then why not go with one of the top rated drives out there for sustained performance and reliability. It might not be the Plus or the Pro version, but hey not everyone needs to be that fast.

These are lightning fast on a semi-high end build. Almost an ‘instant on’ when you start the computer. They pull up games in a flash. Hard to find a single negative thing to say about them. This build was an Asus Hero motherboard, i9, 2080 video card, etc. Mounted two 1TB to the board with ease...but don’t forget to buy a set of Asus standoffs for the second stick if mounting two to an Asus board. Worth every penny.

This drive is incredibly fast in my i7-8700k build. I recommend using this drive instead of a standard SSD for your OS and programs. The other benefit is that it doesn’t take up a 2.5 or 3.5 slot.

Super easy to install, then just format and youre ready to go. All the games in my Steam library load really quick. Definitely recommend!
