SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable External SSD - Up to 1050MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE80-1T00-A25

My drive does not work with my xbox one to store games just media files. When I called SanDisk support today. I was told this only works with Windows or Mac machines? That is crazy my cheap standard drive works fine with my xbox. Really sad that this is the case.

I’m so glad I purchased this when I saw it on sale for a great price. I had been putting off purchasing and external SSD since I own multiple external hard drives, but this is just what I needed. The improvement in speed is insanely noticeable after I started transferring all my raw video and photos in order to have another back up.

First such SSD was faulty on arrival but not greatly so, was much faultier the next day.

Need more store

There is no operation manual or user guide available for this product anywhere not even on the internet as pdf or Sandisk or any other written user guide. so can not and will not properly set or operate.

I use this on a Mac Mini and run my Windows 10 Virtual machine off of it. It runs very fast, has enough space and doesnt get hot like other external drives Ive used in the past.

The thing appeared to work, but, later [uh, almost immediately,] error messages with no explanation appear, and it fails to see folders. The second one, after I returned the first one, does the same thing. Garbage. All of the features would be five star if they were actually present.

Im no techie but this thing is super fast when backing up your files. After reading about the Pro vs the regular Extreme I chose the Pro model and am glad I did. Files transfer quickly using USB 2.0 so Im sure USB 3.0 would be even faster. Highly recommend as your backup choice.

I was surprised with how small and light it was. It’s perfect for someone like me, who usually carry an external hard drive while traveling. The transfer speed is pretty awesome to me. I recommend this drive!
