SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable External SSD - Up to 1050MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE80-1T00-A25

So i bought a Sandisk Pro which advertised to be 1050Mb/s. After i plug in and drag the first file i notice it was pretty slow. So i ran the test shown in the picture. I dont know why my product act like this i saw theres also few other people in the review section experienced the same problem. I tried with other USB port still about the same result, I test the speed of my PC SSD drive it gave me couple hundred Mb/s means the test is accurate. Its a shame I have to return and look for another one.

Got this to back up my MacBook Pro. It’s performs quick and is extremely light weight. I bought a soft shell case for it, as I don’t see it being super durable.... and even if it is, I’d rather err on the side of caution to double protect my data.

I’m a video game composer, and purchased 2000mbps drives to speed up the loading of my mammoth projects in my DAW. Like other Mac owners, I did a disk speed test and the speeds were less than what was advertised.

I purchased a 1tb version of the same model last week and all was good. I purchase another for prime day, and received an open box with pennies instead.

Love the speed of this hard drive. Very quick to read and write as well as edit video directly from. The metal features makes it fee higher quality as well.

Froze up on my computet

I have been editing HD videos from it without any slowdowns. Connection needs to be USB-C for the best performance, USB-A connection is noticeably slow. I will update on 4K when I work on it.

Definitely works well and holds up when it comes to usage and quality. However mine came with no security features available. If lost or stolen.. be prepared.
