> 3 dayI started using Meross products because their Homekit garage door adapter was the only one I could find. They proved to be inexpensive, easy to install and reliable. Due to that experience, I have started using their smart switches. I think I have installed eight so far and I am still a satisfied customer. The only twist to the install is that my iPhone does not scan the device ID label. Thats no big deal since the set-up code is only eight characters. I have also been pleased to notice that Meross continues to provide software updates.

> 3 dayI used this to replace an iDevices three-way switch which worked great but the two switches lost connectivity from each other from time to time as they use Bluetooth to sync (I think). This one works slightly better, hasnt had the lost-sync problem yet...and met my criteria of support for all three major voice assistants. Im a big fan of Meross products and this one is no exception. Outstanding quality for a very good price...and support when you need it!

> 3 dayI have installed several Meross switch products with HomeKit compatibility, and am overall happier with these switches than others that I have tried (mainly from Lutron and Leviton). Given the overall favorable reviews, I thought I would identify several issues that buyers should be aware of before moving forward. I like the Meross products, so I hope they expand and improve their product line. First, Meross provides the wrong size/thread screws for mounting their switches to US junction boxes. They should be 6-32 machine screws but they are not. OK, no big deal, so I used the screws that are already on my switches. Well, those have round (instead of flat) heads. They bulge out just enough that it is essentially impossible to get the snap-on switch plate attached. There are reviews on this or other Meross switches that complain of the same problem with the covers, but they dont identify that this is the problem. Second, the leads are permanently attached to the switch box. I would much prefer screw or push-in terminals. Every Meross switch has at least four leads, which increases the number of ends in a junction box. I am certainly not an expert on the National Electric Code, but I do know that there are limits of how many wires can be in a junction box with a given volume. Two-gang switch boxes become very, very crowded when replacing both switches with smart switches, especially when there are other wires traveling through the same box. Third, the switch housings are very bulky. This is true of other smart switches as well. I ran into a problem where a two-gang junction box has conduit coming in from the side. The switch is so wide that it hits the side conduit fitting and could not be inserted. My solution was to file down a small part of the plastic housing on the switch so that it could fit. (I did not file all the way through, which is how thick the plastic housing is. Of course this means that it is a durable housing.) Fourth, where we live, conduit and grounded junction boxes are required. The Meross switches should be grounded at the plastic tabs so that we dont have to bother with the ground wire. Unfortunately, they are not. Finally, if you want to adjust the minimum dimming level of a dimmer switch, or check for firmware updates, you MUST sign up for a Meross account, which I dont like. The Leviton switches that we have do not require this. Minimum dimming levels and firmware updates can be done through the Decora Smart Home app without needing to set up an account.

> 3 dayItem is built very well. I had issues with their single pole switches from about a year ago where they had dead spots on the physical button, but these switches do not appear to have that problem at all! Very well built, install was super easy, and they worked with my Phillips bulbs I got from Home Depot for other parts of the house. Homekit pairing and integration was perfect on the first try as well on my Eero mesh system. The only suggestion/wish list item I have is for the dim and increase buttons to have a different feeling. Maybe the increase has a bubble feel and the dimmer have the recessed feel just to make it easier in the dark to know which one youre hitting instead of having to feel up and down to see which one youre hitting.

> 3 dayI bought these smart switches to control lights in my home. Most of the smart switches went to outdoor lights as it was the best option for me to have the best control of lights I needed to operated remotely. The install is super easy and they connect to my wifi with no issues. Every one that I have installed needed a firmware update immediately after installing but they were operational in minutes. Pairing with Alexa app was also easy and I was turing on and off my lights using my echo dot in minutes after install. They are a little bulky compared to normal switches so make sure you push the wires and wire nuts to the far back of the box you are installing them in or you wont fit them in on the first shot evenly. They do need to be grounded and I had to ground them to a metal electrical box in one installation as I have some older wiring in my home along with some newer but the switches work great and wifi signal is not an issue in plastic or metal boxes. I also love that when the lights are off you see a little red light in the body of the switch. You can instantly tell if the lights are on or off and if it is dark in the room you can easily find the switches. They also make a satisfying click when depressed and I havent had a single issue with any of the switches that I’ve got.

> 3 dayThis is the second meross product Ive bought (first was the garage door opener which also works well). It was easy to install. If you can install a standard light switch then this is not too much different. The meross app found the switch with no problem and completed the setup. The app works inside the home and when Im away. I like the look of the product. Its simple compared with some of the smart switches out there. It comes with a single gang face plate. If you were installing it in a multi-gang box, youd need to order your own face plate. Have a look at some of the customer images for examples.

> 3 dayThis is a good Homekit compatible switch, simple to use and reliable. I have one of their standard switches too and Im really happy that I found Meross. They work well and are inexpensive which is important when youre trying to outfit an entire house. My only criticism, because this switch has built-in wiring you are forced to use wire nuts on all the connections. This makes for a VERY cramped box when youre installing. The wire nuts in the box are huge. Im not sure why they didnt just use standard push-in or screw connectors.

Greater than one weekThis meross product is very efficient. Pros: - easy to install - uses existing connection to replace old hardware - works with HomeKit natively - has a night light for convenience - meross also detects the switch for communication concurrently with HomeKit if you don’t use HomeKit Cons: - does not work with 5Ghz, if you have a mixed signal for WiFi, make sure to turn off 5Ghz first, then connect the device then then 5Ghz back on or just split your signals. - If you have more than two switches to control the lights, use the main switch and the next in sequence Meross products are very easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend

> 3 dayI have slowly been adding more and more Meross products to our smart home starting with their garage door opener and now all sorts of bulbs, plugs and extension cables and I have to say, they are all great. The switch particularly is sleek and stylish. It fit perfectly in the old switch plate and does not look out of place like I was afraid it might. We primarily control it via voice through Alexa as kids use to to go up and down stairs. The switch is right under the hand railing making it hard to reach so I am glad we were able to automate it. I set it up on homekit as well and it works great from my iphone as well. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 daythis comes in pair and if you have a new set up where ur exact need is not a pair of new smart swiches, do not buy. the logic behind these switches r different from normal dumb 3 way switches i tried to replace the main (one that draws line voltage) and only dimmer in 4 way (3 switches) set up. it works in adjusting and turning on off but my other 2 dumb switches stop working. i selected this because of homekit capability and because i have other meross switches. very disappointed i ended up with another brand of smart 3 way dimmer and have to suffer the indignity of using alexa :(
