Best NC product period. I’ve used Bose products but this definitely outshines.

Excellent noise cancellation and wearing comfort (compared to Sennheiser Momentum 3). However, the latency was intolerable, watching movies noticeably out of sync. Good for music listening, but if you are a movie watcher, I recommend AptX LL headphones.

The headphones themselves are great, the app allows you to have multiple devices connected simultaneously (so I can take a call on my work computer seamlessly while listening to Spotify on my phone without mucking with Bluetooth). The speech pass-through isnt as effortless as Id like (the speech detection takes a few words to trigger and a second to flip modes) but Sony left in the cover the earpiece which Ive realized is a TOUCH TRIGGERED and its fast/responsive.

Earbuds are a no go for me. They always fall out and are overall uncomfortable for my ears. So, I decided to research headphones and buy myself a pair for Christmas. I researched for DAYS. I looked at ratings on Consumer Reports, Amazon, and multiple other websites. After all this research, I settled on the Sony WH-1000MX4. If youre looking for a pair of great quality, comfortable headphones, look no further.

First of all, the headphone is amazing. Great sound quality and noise canceling. I would recommend this product to anyone who is shopping for a headphone. However, this unit that I received started having the buzzing sound after I have used it for about 2 weeks. So I contacted the Amazon customer service, they transferred me to Sony. And the BAD customer service started from there.

Ive had a pair of Boltune over-ear headphones for a long time and they do a fabulous job of cancelling out all outside noise. The faux leather is starting to fall apart, though, so I purchased these Sony headphones to replace them. Wow, how disappointing. The only pro I really see is the sound quality is pretty decent (and I like the equalizer in the app). But they certainly do not eliminate ambient noise very well (yes, I flipped through the 3 settings and the noise cancelling one is just insufficient for the price). I wore them on a plane and while it was somewhat quieter, I could still hear the plane noise and the people around me. My Boltunes almost completely knocked out that kind of noise on the plane. Maybe I just got a lemon, who knows.

Ear Suck

I LOVED the headphones but these weren’t the best for gym in my opinion. A lot of sweating and my ears got sweaty just not the best sensation. But other than that it’s PERFECT.

These sound fine when used without the microphone. As soon as you are using the microphone at the same time as the headphones, the audio quality becomes awful. They keep disconnecting randomly from my computer for no apparent reason. Avoid like the plague.

after 30 minutes of wearing the hard plastic interior pressed too hard against my ear, theres no interior padding and thats doesnt matter if the outside padding was enough. i added whats sold as baby bumper guards and took a loop to put it under the pad, its a dense foam that is going to help with sound isolation. also added cloth inlay thats a better material.
