Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX II CAS Color Graphing Calculator with Student Software (PC/Mac)

> 3 dayI use this calculator as a graduate student and professionally in the EE field. The calculator itself is great, but it’s the CAS software that interfaces with the calculator itself that makes it great. The addition of user-defined Python scripts is the greatest thing about this newer Nspire model. It’s worth every penny so you can create user-defined Python scripts for common problems with redundant input directly from the calculators interface.

> 3 dayTexas Instruments has a reputation for quality hand held calculators and the NSpire CXII CAS is no exception. Like any device this rich in features, there is a learning curve to master it. However, TI offers plenty of support with downloadable guides to get you started or to master their devices, including a general and Python programming tutorial in memory! My only question is why this is not available in Japan? I shopped many stores and although all the models of Casio and Sharp were available there was never any TI products. Amazon Japan offered but more expensive than Amazon.com even with international shipping. I hope TI does a better job of international marketing for their fine products.

> 3 dayLove this calculator. If you happen to run into a funny error where the center button (track pad/ arrow keys are all one button), try restarting it (just off and on didnt work). Press DOC, ENTER, and EE, then click the reset button in the back with a pencil. Very fiddly to hold all 4 without a third hand, but I was able to hold it upright between my chin and my desk to have my hands available for the buttons. This fixed it immediately. Took me a while to find this fix online, and if the reset doesnt fix it, supposedly its a hardware issue, not software. Happy calculating everyone!

> 3 dayThis calculator has a million mathematical functions built in. Each day I learn a new feature that makes me appreciate this calculator more. It does factoring of polynomials, double and triple integrals all symbolic and numerical. No need for a separate financial calculator. This calculator has many financial functions built in. Also the built-in financial solver is beautiful. Overall, a great cal

> 3 dayFirst, it arrived quickly and in very good condition. Besides the manufacturers package (with the manuals and an USB cable) it was also sent in a bigger box with plastic airbags, so it was very good protected. Regarding the calculators performance, so far very good. I used to have the first nspire CAS, and this one is faster from the beggining, it boots faster than the old one. I got this one as replacement for the old one (I had an accident with a cup of coffee) and I will test it further in the next days but so far very happy.

> 3 dayThe learning curve is a bit steep if you are not familiar with TI calculators but the payoff is worth the effort. It does most everything you might want to do in mathematics. From algebra to xyz plots the TI-Nspire CX II CAS color graphing calculator will do the job. It is light weight and the keys are easily accessible to larger fingers. The screen is a good size too and easy to read. However, it would be helpful for older eyes if you could enlarge the mathematical text. You can enlarge the document text. I graduated from the TI-84 Plus, and I am not at all disappointed, in fact, very happy I did.
