> 3 dayFor about the 7th year I used TurboTax to do my personal and sole proprietorship taxes. This year I did returns for my ex-wife and a former girlfriend who had simpler needs. The only thing that would have been better would have been free state E-file. $19.95 is a bit steep for that option.

11-06-2025I used a CPA for years to do my business taxes, but a few years ago I switched over to TurboTax. Now I can file my taxes each year for less than $100. My CPA out priced himself a few years back when he charged me over $250 to do my taxes.

Greater than one weekI have been using Turbo Tax since 2005 and it has been so helpful in doing my taxes. It guides you through every aspect of your taxes. It is EASY-PEASY.I love that it asks so many questions to get the most legal deductions possilbe. It also flags possible questions on deductions. I love the optional services of my taxes being reviewed by an expert.

12-06-2025Have used Turbo Tax for over 15 yrs. Only complaint I have now is that it prints pages not needed or requested. For example: If I want to print Form 1040, Turbo Tax prints three pages, the third page with something entirely not necessary.

The software lets you chose how much help you want (need in most cases) by taking you step by step through income and deductions leaving no stone (deduction) unturned. However you can chose to complete the process without following the easy steps. The great thing is that help is always just a click away. The software also lets you import data from packages like Quicken making the preparation proces less time consuming. I have used TurboTax for over ten years upgrading the product to a more complex package when my business needs changed. I have two different businesses (a health studio and apartment rentals)and I work full time and my wife works as well. The software easily incorporates our business and personal information into the 1040 preparation and since we use Quicken for our accounting practice, everything flows together nicely. I would encourage anyone to try the TurboTax product and see how easy Intuit has made the painful process of paying taxes.

> 3 dayHave used this product for several years without issue. There may be other tax software out there, but with TurboTax, I know how it is laid out and how it operates. When I upgraded to the iPad, I now use the app version which syncs with the cloud and my desktop. I would recommend this item.

> 3 dayI picked this up to do my taxes this year. It is a great product and it really lets you cover all of your bases to make sure you have done everything right. It includes a free efile for federal taxes and comes with free state software, however you have to pay 19.99 to efile your state taxes. I saved a lot of money too by buying it through amazon. I will be buying this again next year!

> 3 dayIm SO happy this software still loaded using Windows 10. I just got a client whos behind in tax filings, and this was the best way to prepare the returns based on the tax code at the time. So far, so good - it loaded, opens & I was able to register it online. WooHoo.

10-06-2025Ok my friend told me I needed to crack open the wallet and buy this program,you wont be dissapointed, he said. Im self employed, nothing big I do coaching and training soccer as a source of income while I go back to school, so I needed the buisness side of this program. It was easy and simple, a lot of help for those things I was unsure about. It walked me through the entire return, Schedules SE, C, and profit and loss form from the total of my car that I used for work. I can not say I would not have found all the deductions it did, but I will say my tax return was significantly larger than in the previous years that I did it by hand. Im buying my firned a nice lunch.
