> 3 dayTurbo Tax is great and makes tax preparation a snap. My only complaints concerning this version of Turbo Tax are that when you are down to the final check and it prompts you to make corrections, after reviewing the final areas to be corrected and making the corrections, if any need to be made, the program continually brings those same errors to your attention -- i.e., if you do not correct an item because it is okay -- and then these supposed errors prevent your e-file from going through. It took me at least 20-30 minutes to submit my final returns via e-file because of this glitch in the program; fortunately, the system finally recognized I approved of my returns as-is, but it was very frustrating and annoying!

> 3 dayFor many years we used a CPA to prepare our tax returns. A few years ago, one of them was audited by the IRS. While it totally passed muster, as I knew it would, it cost us $2,000 for the CPA to represent us. Nonsense, I said. Im an excellent record keeper, Ill admit. So I figured if the TurboTax was user friendly, I would be home free. And on top of that, for an extra 50 bucks or so, TurboTax will represet you in an IRS audit. Perfect. So for the last four years, Ive used TurboTax. Its easy enough if you take your time and you pay attention to each question it asks you.

> 3 dayThis is a great product. I usually have someone else do my taxes. But Turbo Tax walked me through the process. I was able to complete the process without serious issues. It even picked up my W2s, and 1099s online. I really appreciated the audit risk analysis at the end and the suggestions to reduce risk which I did. It then e-filed my tax returns. My refund came a week later for state and two weeks later for federal. Moreover, my refund was significantly higher than previously, and I didnt have to pay to get my taxes done other than the cost of Turbo Tax software and the cost to e-file. All in all, I was greatly pleased.

> 3 dayAmazon always has the lowest prices on the products they sell. I was watching the prices on Turbo Tax home and business software because that is what I have been using for the past 6-7 years to do my taxes. I was waiting for Office Depot and Staples to bring their price down on this product but when I saw the price that Amazon was selling Turbo Tax for I had to get it. I just knew that the other stores could not match the Amazon price for such a great product. Turbo Tax is a great product that is easy to use and you can ask for help on anything you have trouble with - easy and on-line.

> 3 dayThis is the fifth year I have used TurboTax and really like it. It is flexible in its approach--either a led tour or you can just go to the forms you know you need. For people like us who used 5 or 6 schedules on the federal return this is an easy task.

Greater than one weekWe have used this for many years to do our taxes. It is a huge improvement over trying to negotiate forms without guidance and is a great time saver if you keep your records in digital form. We do not make use of the import from Quicken feature, since our categories are arranged for our budgeting purposes and not by tax form line. My only persistent complaints are the following: 1) Customer service (though improved more recently) is still not quickly available--even for questions about interpreting TurboTax guidance. The program is easy to understand for most usual questions, but some are ambiguous and can prompt one to e.g., enter a value twice unintentionally. 2) accuracy: problems here are extremely rare, but they happen. There was a problem in 2012 or 2013 where the program altered an amount when transferring to the state return (it was a real calculation error). Most errors are due to misinterpretation of the Easy Step guidance questions. This could be averted easily if Intuit would include warnings and clarifications for likely points of confusion. Unfortunately, most problems occur on more obscure forms or less common deductions and credits. If you have a very straight forward, simple tax picture, this program will be wonderful. If not, just keep your antennae up and review all forms before filing!
