Uniden BCD325P2 Handheld TrunkTracker V Scanner Audio is crisp and clear, as digital should be. But the dispatchers volume is rather weak. There must be a setting to set Automatic Gain Control other than the one I checked. The real problem is the fact that it quit working on rechargeable batteries. Arrived on time and price was good.

This is a good scanner. Too bad it eats batteries. Maybe 4 hours of usage with one set. I use rechargables otherwise Ill be spending a fortune on batteries.

Quality

Uniden used to be a good name in radios. Based on this and the previous scanner I got, there is no quality in the products. Had another scanner sitting next to this and it would not pick up transmissions the other scanner would get loud and clear. What was worse is when I went to return it, they did not offer the UPS pickup service like all my other returns have. Would not recommend purchase of *ANY* Uniden products.

It is a nice scanner, easy to program if using 3rd party software. Range in my area not as good as i thought it should, even with purchasing another antenna. Range drops when it is running of batteries.

This scanner works well and is easy enough to program with the provide cable.the only downside is that large trucked systems can be difficult

Not the easiest to program. Manual is very confusing.

Only thing I dislike is it doesnt charge the battery while in use. Otherwise its great for p25 systems and normal analog systems.

Its was hard to setup but I went on line to YouTube and found the help I needed.

A great radio receiver for the money. Had local professional radio company program all channels with their software program. Really receives calls from a long distance.
