After so many mixed reviews on external hard drives, we decided to go with an internal SSD & I’m so glad we did! It was easy to install after watching a YouTube video. The formatting took seconds to do & we were set to go! We’ll eventually upgrade to 2TB but for now we’re very satisfied!

This might as well be the one essential PS5 memory expansion. Legitimately the best purchase of 2022. I caught the 2TB on a sale and I couldn’t have gone without it. I have more than enough room for everything I play and it’s FAST! I get slightly faster load times for pretty much every game, especially RDR2.

If you’re worried if this will work with your PS5, don’t fret. This was easy to install and the games work seamlessly off this drive. I haven’t experienced any issue. Plenty of YouTube videos exist to help install, and it is easier than it sounds. Storage is about as good as it says

Its a game changer. Im no longer concerned about storage space for my PS5. The games load even faster and its easy to install. If you have no clue how to install in, just watch some YouTube videos. It took me 5-10 mins, but I can do it faster, if need be. The only issue I had was with my 1st purchase of the same product. It was faculty from the start. I got a replacement, free of charge and had not 1 problem, since. Ive had it for about two months.

It wasnt that difficult to install NVME M.2 SSD for PS5 and it worked flawlessly! Speed was roughly between 6GB/s -7 GB/s. The loading time was slightly faster than internal storage but its still a must if you run out of space to download and install more games which I highly recommend this SSD. Once you have installed M.2 SSD, itll ask you to reformat SSD which will delete all your files with clean installation. Then you can transfer games from internal SSD to NVMe M.2 SSD which takes about 1-2 minutes, regardless file size.

Works perfect with PS5 and is easy to install.

I didn’t realize, when I ordered it, that it has a customizable rgb light if you get the one with the heat sink. You’ll want to download wd_black Dashboard to choose the color and pattern.
