This is a great upgrade from an SSD. Its the first time I bought one of these. I had to look/read to find out where to install it on my motherboard. The screws that are included are super small so dont throw them away because one is needed for the installation. I build my own computers, but Im not a professional, so it was a small learning curve on this first installation. Its the only way to go for me from now on.

Easy to install on PS5 and exceeds standard recommendations for what Sony recommends. Transferring from console storage to this NVME device is very fast which indicated just how fast this device operates! Installing it is rather standard, similar to how you’d install it on a PC but a bit different in terms of accessing the PS5 NVME slot. Follow online tutorials and directions for the PS5 NVME install, don’t just try to “wing it” if you’ve never done anything like this before. This particular NVME stick includes a heat sink which is also recommended by Sony to be installed since the memory can get very hot and essentially wear out due to heat if you don’t have a heat sink installed. Since this NVME option came with the heat sink pre-installed, it make overall installation onto the PS5 even quicker.. otherwise it would take a little longer if you have to take the additional steps to adhere an off the shelf heat sink to your NVME stick. I highly reccomend this meme key device for PS5 and also for PC. I believe this particular stick is also on Sony’s “recommended” list of devices for PS5 NVME storage expansion. I highly recommend this especially since it’s priced the same as Microsoft’s proprietary memory card expansion. Overall, I highly recommend this for PS5 since the games now are massive in size and stock console storage is incredibly lower than you’d think at less than 700Gig usable memory.

Absolutely great for anyone looking to build a computer desktop. The speeds are blazing fast. Ran a few benchmarks and I am also getting similar numbers with everyone elses reviews (READS between mid-6,800s and high-6900s and WRITES around mid-5100s) Be sure your motherboard is compatible with Gen 4 PCIe NVMe SSDs! I am currently using this for content creation purposes and as my primary boot drive. Overall, I would put this in the top 5 for best all-around PCIe Gen 4 SSD in budget and performance.
