> 3 dayI had really high hopes for this product, enough so that when the first one I bought came apart within 24 hours, I foolishly ordered a replacement instead of asking for a refund. As it is, both times I bought this product, the heat mat continuously fell off the bottom of the tank, despite my following every recommendation to get it to stay on. The replacement mat did the same thing before eventually separating entirely from the adhesive, rendering the mat completely useless and the bottom of my tank sticky. I missed the return window due to my angrily shoving it out of sight and forgetting about it, so Im stuck with it now unfortunately. Perhaps I can use its dysfunctional husk to soothe my muscle aches or something. But my snake will certainly never get any use out of it.

> 3 dayi heard alot of reviews saying these really can cook your animals if you dont use a regulator or thermostat so I just decided to order this 6x8 small size even tho i have a huge tank. It works just as i hoped where one side of my tank is room temp the other is lil warm.

> 3 dayI use it on the side of the cage for supplemental heating to a heat lamp I have. Works fine for my boy. Keeps him warm.

> 3 dayIt works really, however...... Someone needs to figure out how to get these things to stick to the underside of the tank better. I have been using these things for my reptiles for years. The problem I have is that I attach it then check back in a few days and it is dangling there. So I came up with a plan. If you are like me and have the wooden stands that you buy in the pet store that matches your aquarium size and it has these large cutouts between the bottom of the tank and the top of the stand. That is where the heat pad will just fall through because of the heat warming the glue and the weight of the cord pulling down on it. I have some leftover 12 x 12 ceramic tiles. I just cut it down to about 8 inches on one side and slid it under the tank, but on top of the stand with the heating pad above the tile. It works great. You could probably use something else. I just figured the heat wouldnt effect the ceramic tile. This way it pushes the pad right up on the tank and also sends the heat up through the tank rather than just warming the storage area down below.

> 3 dayId really leave no stars for this is I could. We ordered these to be sent to our house which we were moving into. Which they were. We got here yesterday and put them onto brand new, clean tanks last night. This morning we came in and both beaters fell off of the tanks because the glue wouldnt hold them on. My lizards are both frozen and had better not get sick. Not only that but these heaters were sitting on a wood floor all night now as well. This entire purchase was an expensive waste.

Greater than one weekI bought this for under my reptiles tank. It stuck underneath for two weeks and then stopped sticking. Tried attaching it again multiple times but it will not stick anymore. Now I have to purchase another one
