Zilla Terrarium Heat Mats Black Small, 10-20 Gallon, 8 Watt

They work. Been using this brand for years!

At first I thought these heat mats were gonna be perfect. Not so! Less than a month later they started to peel away from the tank a bit but I would press them back down and it seemed ok. A couple months now and I can’t keep them attached at all. Don’t know if it was a bad batch with poor tack ability or if they are always this poorly made. Very disappointed. On top of that once the mat peels away the thermostat goes crazy trying to heat the air to 90 degrees so you can imagine how hot the mat is. Again I’m just very disappointed. I bought 3 at the same time. Only 1 barely sticks. A waste of hard earned money.

Don’t stick well

Ive had this for 4 months now and it has been plugged in for 24/7 since I got it. I had to buy a thermostat to connect to this heatmat. I have set the thermostat to 87F for my California kingsnake. Works well. Keeps my snake warm during winter months. My snake is healthy. No issues.

Adhesive stuff is not in the heating pad, it is on the paper that peels off! Cant be used now!

First time using this brand for UTH. I will never buy this brand again, after a week it started to unstick itself!!! I have other brands that have been on tanks for years and they have no issue. Not sure how they dont see this as a problem when they manufacture it; unless they dont do QC on their own products.

my lizard loves this thing and is much more active since she went a bit without a mat. heats the tank very well.

I bought one of these for my royal python after his heat lamp shorted out. I did a little research and heating pads were often listed in preference to heat lamps, so I thought Id give it a try. I cant speak for every brand, but these ones were absolute crap. It didnt heat my terrarium (or my poor snake), the adhesive doesnt stick and fell off at least once a day, and lastly, this item is completely impossible to return. They advertise on their site as providing refunds if you are not satisfied with their product, but have absolutely no means by which you can reach them. I called three times and left three voicemails, I sent two emails (both directly and through amazon), and I attempted to call the company headquarters. No response. Very unprofessional. Complete waste of $25. So not only does this product suck and put both you and your pet through stress, youre stuck with it.
