> 3 dayI bought this computer to replace my old one that broke (it was about 5-6 years old) this Acer that I bought is way slower than my old one. I would have sent to back but my return window had closed. Not happy with this computer wont play the one online game I do play.

> 3 dayThis Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-36UT has some major flaws. First of all it does have FHD 1080p screen, but has a very narrow viewing angle. You must have the screen at exactly the right angle in front of you to see the colors properly. Secondly, it has NO indicator that the caps lock is on. Thirdly, the charging and power on lights are on the side and can not be seen when normally using the laptop, thus when hitting the power button you have no idea if it is on or not! Also there is no indicator that the num lock is on. Finally, it is difficult to open the lid. Personally, I feel that Acer chinsed out on this laptop and I would not recommend it.

> 3 dayOnce I upgraded the ram and added a ssd drive in the open slots this baby has been smooth going. Laptop boots up quickly and I have no issue with the screen or sound quality you just have to adjust settings to your preference. I love the number pad, I missed it with my previous laptop. I really havent been on it enough to determine the battery life. It may suck or it may not but Ill live with. Ill still keep my box for just in case.

> 3 dayThe laptop does what you need it to do, but as others have mentioned, the fan runs. Constantly. It runs on startup and revs up so high I think its going to burn out. Webpage open? Fan runs. Nothing open? Fan runs. Bottom of the laptop heats up as well, regardless of how long its been on. I returned the first one I bought, but the new one does the same thing. I added extra RAM, and saw zero performance increase and zero fan decrease. I dont recommend it.
