Its fast. Thats why I got it. Ive never owned a Microsoft computer. Im getting inside Bill Gates mind by understanding this little silver bullet. I have hope it will not let me down. I feel guilty spending this much money on myself but Im investing in my education. I get pissed at this Acer Aspire often bc I dont know what its talking about and I realize I need to chill and learn to communicate with computer aka Bill Gates brain. It will be okay. Im learning the language of a new system. Its annoying but I did use the video editor and made a movie and that was fun and somewhat easy. Basically, this is a really powerful fast operating system. Get a Bluetooth speaker and a battery pack.

Falla la computadora

I bought this laptop six months ago and within a few weeks of buying it I knew I should return it but didnt. The volume is disgustingly low. My iPhones speaker is louder at 25% than this laptop at 100%. And while the screen was never the brightest, it has gone to almost unusable because its so infuriatingly dim. I wasted $300 on this junk. Congrats to all the reviewers who have had better luck than I have with this massive disappointment.

Lets call this laptop what it is.....basic and on the lower end. If youre into gaming or HD video editing or any other areas that require powerful hardware, this isnt the machine for you. I ordered it to take with me when I travel, just to do email and web surf on. It works well for that purpose.

Speaker is not hearable on this device. I had to use another speaker unit to be able to hear what comes out of the computer. Any help here please ?

The laptop began having issues with an inconsistent power button after a few weeks and is now inoperable. Amazon refers us to the manufacturer and will not stand behind the product. This is a hardware problem that is not repairable by the purchaser. Do not buy.

Very easy to set up. There is some bloat ware from windows and Acer that i could have done without. Has a extra 2.5 SATA drive bay for extra SSD storage if you are willing to add.
