Perfect all purpose swaddle blankets! I buy these for pretty much every baby shower I go to. They are large, soft, absorbent. stretchy and work great as swaddles, burp cloths, sun covers, mats, a light blanket, emergency changing pad, anything... Throw it over your car seat when the sun is blazing over the parking lot, and it will keep the seat cool upon your return trip, throw this breathable blanket over your stroller, and give baby some shelter from the sun or help baby take a nap, throw it over your shoulder, and you have a soft burp cloth for babys head, tuck it tightly under a pnp mattress, and you have a last minute, soft and clean travel sheet that smells like home, hang it outside the pnp to keep out the suns morning rays or just hide baby from the distraction of mommy and daddy sleeping close by in the hotel room (this one is a favorite). These are also my favorite swaddle blankets as they are so light and breathable - no worries about overheating, especially for summer babies. They are smushy and take up very little space in a diaper bag, despite their size, and they weigh almost nothing. Just Love Love Love. Oh, and the cheaper ones being sold at Target, BBB and Babies R Us, etc. are not the same. They are still good, I have both, but the quality and softness is just not the same. Also, the cheaper ones are smaller in size.

These Harry Potter themed swaddle blankets are the best! I can’t wait to try them on our girls when they are released from the nicu. They’re super soft and large enough for a good swaddle! The design is also darling.

These are the perfect swaddle blankets if you want something a little heavier, but still lightweight. Went back to purchase more after receiving as a shower gift.

These swaddles are the best! We got a couple as hand me downs and I knew when these ones went on sale that we were going to need more. Theyre perfect-- large enough to actually bundle our little dude, but thin enough that we can fold them into a square for his cute little monthly pictures or use them in his car seat. They only get softer with every wash!

Why should you pay $50 for swaddle blankets when you can bring a bunch home from the hospital gratis? Thats what we kept asking ourselves. But after a few weeks when your little one(s) get just a touch bigger and kick just a touch stronger, youll realize that the size of the hospital issue swaddle blankets (or the many better patterned similar ones you can buy for half the price of these) arent big enough to get a tight swaddle. The aden + anais muslin blankets are much bigger, giving you much more material to use for wrapping your burrito. And the breathable fabric helps keep your baby from overheating (whoever told us that babies dont sweat lied). This is definitely a splurge product, but its one youre going to use on a regular and worth it. And if youre looking to cut corners cost wise, find a smaller pack not a lesser swaddle. Weve got twins and the 4-pack is more than enough for two.

Aden + anais has a less expensive version of blanket, but they are made for Target etc. and are smaller and less quality. I suggest buying these more expensive muslin blankets. Its so worth it! Wish I hadnt wasted money on other receiving blankets. They are light weight and airy, it feels like youre wrapped in a cloud. I live in Hawaii where its moist and warm so these blankets are absolutely perfect. They allow your skin to breathe. The blankets are still warm when its chilly. You determine the temp of them by how many layers you use. They are large and versatile. I use them as a quick nursing cover up when its hot out and my shall is too warm. They work great as a car seat cover from the wind or sprinkle. They are also great for laying on the grass in the park for some outdoor time with baby. The designs are super cute and I wont be buying any other kind of receiving blanket and will buy them for my friends whom are expecting!

I bought my first Aden and Anais blanket with my second son while we were in the hospital with an extended NICU stay. The blanket quickly became my favorite and I wish I had it with my first baby. They are durable, large, wash well, and get better (and softer) with time. I ran across this pattern and couldnt get it out of my brain, so I decided to add this set to the one I always used. I use these blankets ALL the time - they go with me everywhere. I have used them for swaddling, a nursing over, a car seat cover (in a light drizzle or a windy walk), a blanket, a sun shade, a burp cloth, to sop up messes, and to clean off my older kids face/skin after muddy or sandy play. Throw them in the wash and they are good to go. I would highly recommend these to any new momma or a mother that has kiddos and is on the fence about purchasing. They are a bit of money, but truly are a work horse and worth the investment.

Absolutely love this TIMELESS print. the blankets are excellent quality material, the print is intricate and well crafted, and the size of the blanket is generous! I cant wait to use these daily-if I can keep from hanging them on the blanket latter for decor ha!
