As a new mom I was struggling when swaddling my son. He would always come out of the swaddle! I even started to say my son hated to be swaddled. Until a friend swaddled him and he slept like a baby!!!! She recommended these and it was God send. The blanket is long and light enough that made swaddling easy. Since it its so big, in a way it grows with the baby. Ive been able to swaddle him since he was 2 weeks old and continue to do it now at 4 months (but now we swaddle him with the hands outside). I also used it to cover my son from the sun when we are in the car, as a tummy time blanket and lately (apparently) as a chewing toy as my son loves to sucks on it. One of the best baby gear investments we have made.

I love these blankets and use them for everything- swaddling my daughter, rolling them up and using them to prop my arm up while she’s nursing, draping over her car seat, even as a backdrop for pictures of her- by far our favorite blankets that we use! Super breathable and very soft.

I super love these pretty swaddle blanket! It’s big, feels soft and very useful. I use it for my baby as a swaddling blanket and I use it during breast pumping, very versatile! My baby and I can still use these forever! Lol! I have 6 blankets and I love to have more of these!

When my first son was born (4 1/2 years ago) I had heard how wonderful these blankets were. I saw the price tag and decided no blanket was worth that. (Yes, I am a know cheapskate, though I prefer the word frugal.) When my third son was soon to be born (4 months ago) my sister in law ordered me one off of eBay. I was semi excited to get one just so I could say I had one, but I was sure it was no big deal. I got it in the mail, washed it and fell in love. I loved how light and airy it felt, I loved that I could throw it over my face and have no issue in breathing, I LOVED how big it was, and I loved how cute it was. I brought it to the hospital with me so I could use it right away. When it comes to swaddling, I am horrible at it. Even watching videos didnt help, but I was capable of swaddling my son in this blanket. When his blanket was in the wash, I hated to use the other blankets and couldnt wait for the dryer to finish. Eventually I got so tired of it that I broke down and bought this pack. I am so glad I did. I have tried a few other muslin blankets, but these are my favorites.

I live in the desert and the summer gets HOT!! But I have kids who can’t live without blankets. So these soft, thin, cotton blankets are perfect. We use these for everything and wash them often and they hold up well. They are a teething cloth, burp cloth, we wipe the babies face with it, a nursing cover, literally everything except being used as a diaper is what we use these for and they are amazing!

These blankets, plus the rocknplay, caused me to actually get enough sleep when I had a 2 year old and a newborn! I didnt want to worry about baby overheating, so I would lay this blanket in the rocknplay, then lay baby down, then wrap the blanket around him and tuck the sides in. It wasnt a true swaddle, but still kept him covered (just from the waist down), and he felt comfortably tucked in. He slept really well with this combination. I like that these arent heavy like flannel or fleece blankets, and they are not too warm. I find that they are big enough that they still cover my 3.5 year old if he wants to sleep with a light blanket. And they still look as good as new after many washings, for 2 years straight.

Why should you pay $50 for swaddle blankets when you can bring a bunch home from the hospital gratis? Thats what we kept asking ourselves. But after a few weeks when your little one(s) get just a touch bigger and kick just a touch stronger, youll realize that the size of the hospital issue swaddle blankets (or the many better patterned similar ones you can buy for half the price of these) arent big enough to get a tight swaddle. The aden + anais muslin blankets are much bigger, giving you much more material to use for wrapping your burrito. And the breathable fabric helps keep your baby from overheating (whoever told us that babies dont sweat lied). This is definitely a splurge product, but its one youre going to use on a regular and worth it. And if youre looking to cut corners cost wise, find a smaller pack not a lesser swaddle. Weve got twins and the 4-pack is more than enough for two.

We went a little overboard with our first child back in 2012, and we bought (no joke) six sets, when the price went down from the retail 49 to around 34-35 per box of four blankets. We litter ally use them for everything. We use them as a swaddle, a cover for breastfeeding/pumping, cover on changing pad, cover for public restroom changing tables, stroller cover, infant carrier cover, light blnket to cover our daughters legs when the sun hits .... we use it to cover the boppy when she would be propped up on it... used it in her crib as a crib sheet when she was in the nicu, the neonatologist was amazed at how soft the blankies were..... two years later - they clearly arent used as much but still soft, still used as emergency light blankets that get carried in the backpack for all outings, one in the stroller at all times and one in the car used as a changing pad for when we need to change her diaper in the SUV trunk. none of the blankies have been damaged, or issues of stitching coming out, its almost like the first day we purchased them except tey are softer with all the washes..... we buy them as gifts for friends and family who are expecting as a MUST have item

Love this brand and theae designs! The blankets are oversized and are great nursing covers because they are so light weight. We had some for my son and he lived them so much he carried them everywhere. I finally had to replace them when he was 3!
