Relieves shoulder or neck pain. Even though I do floor exercises every day and work on my posture relentlessly (Im 79), I have frequent neck and/or shoulder pain. This works for both. It has helped me keep me active--especially playing tennis. It is easy to wear under a vest or a shirt (with an undershirt of some kind for comfort), so no one needs to be the wiser. I wore out the first one; this is my second.

After long periods of neck pain resulting in slouching I decided to try a posture aid. This one looked about right. It does the job just fine. Relatively comfortable. One problem is that it is impossible to put on by myself. My wife has to assist. This is designed for a small person. I am 5’9” tall and weigh 180 pounds. This device seems to fit fine once in place, but impossible to reach the adjustment straps without assistance. If I am alone, I can’t use it.

Uncomfortable don’t wear it much

It was easy to adjust the tension of the braces. But I can not wear it under my clothes. I wear at home at night for 2-4 hrs. to help me with my posture. I tend to slouch.

I dont write many reviews on Amazon especially for a product that already has 15,000 reviews, but I had to write this one. Ive been a computer analyst for 25 years and hunch over a laptop every day for hours. My posture is really bad and I have pain in my neck, occipital area, shoulder tops and between shoulder blades. Ive spent so much money over the years trying back braces, special bras, special tension shirts to pull back shoulders, neck stretchers, at-home traction devices, etc. But THIS IS THE BEST product Ive ever tried for shoulder repositioning and support. I usually dont even bother with these type of products anymore, but this one was cheap and my neck was hurting so I thought, What have I got to lose other than 20 bucks? This actually works!!! Ive had it for a month or so and each time I wear it, I wear it longer and notice it less, and when I take it off, I still find myself pulling my shoulders back. It can be difficult to put on, but put your hands behind your back like you are getting handcuffed (not that I ever have, lol) and slip the brace around your wrists and then work it up to your shoulders. It is SO WORTH THE MONEY and I would repurchase with no hesitation.

Today I received a letter from the owner of the Comfy Brace company. It was in regards to reviewing her product and that in these strange times, how difficult it is to keep a small business going. So, this review is written to support her and her product. It is written without bias and I am a real customer. Let’s start with my problem and why I needed something to help my posture. I have been a chef for almost 30 years and as you can guess, for most of that time I’ve been bent over a cooker, pass or chopping board. Bending over to pick up boxes, sacks of vegetables and on my knees cleaning out fridges and freezers. Now, at the age of 46, I have a small private chef business and I’m working less hours for more money! Nice. However, my wife has alway had to tell my to stand up straight and put my shoulders back. Problem is, I couldn’t! After doing some research into back support products I came across this product from Comfy Brace. It was inexpensive (compared with some products that run into $100’s “Hey what the hell, it’s like $20 plus shipping!” I wore it for a few hours a day and to be honest, it wasn’t all that “Comfy”, but then, it’s not supposed to be at the start. It’s purpose is to bring your posture back to where it is comfortable. The more you wear it the more comfortable it becomes! After 1 month of using it daily for 3-4 hours, I’m standing straight and my shoulders naturally back. I’ve also noticed that my breathing has become more regular since I’m not cramping up my chest and, get this, my wife says I’ve stopped snoring too! Now I can’t be certain that this is because of the brace, I’m not a doctor! But it is no coincidence that its happened in the last 30 days. Conclusion, the more you wear it, the better you will feel. Even though it works perfectly for me I can see why theres some negative reviews. Even though its a One Size Fits All, the size seems to be perfect for a womans medium (which I am) so I cant imagine it fitting comfortably on a man. Maybe only smaller men. Edit: After using it for around 2 weeks, I dont use it anymore, because I dont need it. The corrector gave me a feel for how my posture should be so I can now fix it on my own. I didnt even know my head could go so high. It honestly must have added like 2 inches to my height lol A BIG complaint is a few days into using it the motion of sliding the straps over my shoulders like a backpack made one of my shoulders ache for like 2 days.
